This is only an extra 1.50 per month and with some cashback at the start negates most of the difference. It also has 2gb extra data.
Personally if this deal was available at the same time as the o2 one (which I got) I'd have taken this one, despite the extra 1.50.

I've had a Galaxy S2 since launch and it's working fine but time to upgrade to 4g especially as 3 have just kindly offered to double the price from my One Plan.
I fancy the S7 Edge on Voda with 20% discount my employer gets.

The htc m8 was so much better than the s4/s5. It felt nicer, didnt have the unremovable bloatware samsung load their phones up with, has a nicer interface and is much more stable. Samsungs you have to reboot every few days or it takes 30 secs to start dialing calls or to wake up after switching the screen off.
That said, they can both do one if they use the awful non removable battery model.

You can put up to 200GB micro SD card i think. And yes, you can put apps into sd card, as long this app allows it.

Go for it ... sell the phone & use the money to buy 'data add-ons' when/if you exceed your 5GB limit.
I personally would keep the phone, the S7 is a great phone, and pay for data add-ons when I exceed the 5GB limit.

Yes it's EE Regular, you can check the difference on this page:
and it makes Toast.....with marmite!....good deal but due an upgrade in July and October and have never had to pay for a new phone or the normal going monthly tariff...amazing what you can get when you play your cards right  ......was looking at the g5.....but simply not convinced.....and now Sammy have seen sense to include a mem slot this hand set is the complete pic......although its the edge for me.....or I could wait for the note 6.....heated up and thanks for sharing

Remember to 'adopt' the SD card, otherwise it'll be the usual story of most apps not being able to be put onto SD (WhatsApp being the main culprit for me).
To fix this, and give my old Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini a few years' more life, I've just installed Android Marshmallow to it, and it works a treat. No more weekly having to delete apps etc as I've 'adopted' a 32gig card, so it effectively becomes part of the main storage.
The S7 supports this as it runs Android Marshmallow, which has this new 'adoptable storage' feature, though Samsung have disabled it by default. Google to the rescue as usual for how to enable it...

Eh, depends what side you want to attack this from.
Screen & display easily goes to Samsung, bar none. Audio quality, software optimisation and update frequency goes to HTC. The M8 still has the fastest touch response for a mobile, a shame the Android OS negates some of that. Battery life on both have been meh until now, thanks to the S7. Lets wait to see what the HTC 10 brings before we compare it to anything

My contract with Vodaphone was up this week. I've been with them for twenty years, does anyone know if they pricematch? I rang them last week and asked them if they could do me a good deal and they said no deals at the minute because the phone is too new for them to discount it!

Well i've rang them and asked them to match this deal. They said there are no deals at all on the Samsung. I asked how to end my contract as I would be silly to pay a lot more to stay a loyal customer. He said I can't take my number if I get another Vodafone contract. Its important I keep this number due to personal reasons so does that mean i'm trapped into paying £50 a month? I worked out that i've been with Vodafone since 1991 and thought better the devil you know. I've just received my PAC so I better start looking around. Will I be missing out by leaving Vodafone?
