Suggest you check out the price of replacement toners before you buy.
Bought similar model last year, genuine toner around the £50 mark.
Works a treat and same quality (bold black) as the original cart

I did a google search for the toner, and got a duo compatible pack for not allot more.
My point being, is exactly what you said. It is cheaper in the long run.

I have that same printer, where did you get your bottle of toner for £9 from please?

I got the SP201N and just replaced the actual toner in the cart. Had to unscrew the cog on the cart, and there was a plug that can be popped off with a flat head screw driver. Bottle of toner was £9 delivered. I think we're on our 6th ream of paper so far with the included toner cart as a result.
might be worth checking out the refill kits.

anyone suggest a good economical printer does not have to be colored..B&W will do..inkjet or toner printers..bcoz normally ink replacement or toners cost more than printer itself..thanks

Yeah, I've been looking into refills and it seems like in general brother is the best.http://www.urefilltoner.co.uk/test-lab-printer-reviews.html
The printers themselves are a bit more expensive, but end up being a lot cheaper in the long run.
The above site also explains how use the refill kits etc which I found helpful

For a normal user it should be cheap enough, particularly using the refill kits.
Also, do not forget 3.53% cashback at Topcashback, which should be about another quid taken off the printer prize all being well.

2500 pages at 5% fill which equals to about 500 pages if you print barcodes like me...quite expensive running cost

Why buy genuine toner? We print 10-15 pages every day, the eBay toner is doing just fine
