I tried these last night for the first time, had them in a chow mein sauce. Didnt taste of anything, i suppose because they were classed as "chicken" quorn i thought they might be flavoured. Dont know if id use them again, at least with meat you get the juices whilst cooking. I am trying to cut down amount of meat i eat but to be honest if i omitted quorn completely the dish would have tasted the same.

I tend to fry them first with spray oil, seasoning & spices which helps in giving them flavour and texture. They can just turn to tasteless mush otherwise. But as a vegetarian there aren't many other alternatives so we will take what we can get

They do taste vaguely like chicken. Though as chicken is a meat famous for being bland and boring, I'm not sure why you were expecting some kind of flavour explosion!

Try firm tofu, cube it, squeeze the water out of it and marinate it in some soy sauce and a little cornflour (or any other thick sauce). Then fry it off to get it a little crisp and brown on the outside then add back in towards the end of cooking. Cashews are also good in a stir fry.

Quorn is more about adding a high-quality complete protein to your diet without resorting to meat, and able to be used as a drop in replacement for chicken recipes. You need to add the flavours.

They taste like chicken but who in the hell wants to put a dead corpse inside them anyway.
This has gone vegan now so probably will be selling this one cheap until it goes. I think the vegan one is better.

Exactly, this is why I use it. 100g of this is a decent amount, it's only 89 calories but 14g of protein!! That's mental, I tend to add this to anything and don't really mind the flavor, I tend to leave it in a light bbq marinade over night in the fridge and add it to random cooked meals. GREAT for gym goers, honestly is.

Better to be thought a fool, than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Love these in a korma, just fry some onion, chuck in some sweetcorn and fresh bell pepper and it's done in no time.

In my local Tesco metro they went through the till at £2.79. So either not nationwide or somebody missed a number out of the price.
