I'm not a huge fan of that Nowgamer article. Too wordy. Here are some instructions I posted a few months back:
"I created a Canadian account a few nights ago for Firewatch, and took about 20 minutes from scratch. Here's how:
1. created a brand new Gmail address
2. created a brand new PSN account using my browser, with some random Burger King in Toronto as my address, and verified via the new Gmail account
3. signed up for a brand new account on PCGameSupply and verified via text
4. bought $20 CAD on PCGameSupply (via PayPal) and waited a couple of minutes for the code to pop up
5. set up the new PSN account on my PS4, and set my machine as primary (it actually prompts you to do this)
6. went onto the PlayStation Store, and redeemed my code against Firewatch"
Easy.

These prices are also the exact same as on the US psn store, and US psn cards are easier to get
I think people could at least forgive such a small error, I mean it's just an extra letter that maybe he put in by accident or maybe his phone auto corrected it that way, who knows?
Could be a lot worse, a friend of mine who I talk to frequently can't form a single sentence without it being riddled with mistakes, often I literally can't understand what he's saying at all, drives me insane.
Pointing out an incredibly basic grammar mistake is not pedantry. Would you prefer it if people kept on making these kinds of mistakes? What if they included the same mistake on their CV?

Has no one bought Metro: Last Light The Complete Edition? I know it's only on sale for PS3 which isn't as interesting to talk about as the PS4, but I bought it for £2.19, played it for a couple of hours so far and it seems to be a great game. I was worried about horrible frame drops and graphics much worse than those on PC - but not, it looks and runs great on the PS3.
In any case thanks for the list!

A lot of these are also on Flash Sale for US PSN accounts too at the same price in USD as CAD - I know Canadian store is cheaper as you get a lot more for each pound (its about $1.80 CAD to £1 GBP as opposed to $1.44 USD), but just in case anyone had credit lying around to be used on a US account like myself!

In a word: no.
Mods, is it not about time we/you had a FAQ for those unfamiliar with the buying-Canadian-PSN-games process? It'd get hits aplenty, and not just through HUKD. Surely that's better than constantly pointing people towards an external site detailing the process for US games?

I enjoyed The Order:1886 immensely. It is a very well crafted, story driven game. It's actually very similar in structure and gameplay to the Gears of War series. It's a game for the 'thinking gamer', who justifies and enjoys their actions through narrative. If you simply want to run around pointlessly shooting other online players the mindless, Michael Bay-esque Call of Duty series should suffice.

I do wonder how Sony are getting away with not charging Canadian sales tax tbh. Steam, Xbox and even Nintendo add it at checkout and the Canadians are sticklers for this sort of thing. My only guess is that perhaps Sony themselves are picking up the tab out of what you pay them like UK retailers do with VAT.

All people worried bout setting up Canadian n jargon of primary n all that it is safe to create it n use it. Few months back someone posted a sale of life is strange of Canadian psn... I too was sceptical n worried bout ordering from another region as I didn't hv a postal address or anything.
Like someone suggested use a random Canadian address wen creating a new Canadian psn Id (think mines a pizza Hut sonewhere) but use a legit second email to verify Ur psn. N thats all is to it. From my understanding u can hv many psn accounts on a single ps4 machine n making it primary.
Ordering from pcgamesupply is easy n they email u the code immideietly. When setting up I got asked my phone number wasn't sure to giv it or not but they use it to verify details n thats it, owner of $20 Canadian.
Hope u guys enjoy the sale, great post

Excel is your friend.
Next time put the title, cost and UK cost in 3 separate columns on the same row.
In the next row along put
=A1&" - "&B1&" "&C1
Copy the row and paste it as text and you have your text ready to put into the deal.
For the £ just do =B1/*enter exchange rate here"

If you wanted to play on your UK psn account once downloaded you have to log into the Canadian account and set your ps4 as primary.

Easy.
Sorry about the links not being clickable, I don't know how to do that.

Also, I cant find a credit card payment method. Is it there?
Which one would you recommend?
Alien: Isolation
BEYOND: Two Souls
Metro Redux
Tearaway Unfolded
The Order: 1886
I not a fan of digital only purchases for consoles but these prices match Steam and are low enough not to worry about trade in. It's shame the Vita is tied to my UK account.
Now I just need to find time to play!

Could be a lot worse, a friend of mine who I talk to frequently can't form a single sentence without it being riddled with mistakes, often I literally can't understand what he's saying at all, drives me insane.

In any case thanks for the list!
annoying having to wait an hour between attempts!
also are there any similar sites to buy the credit from?
thanks
That being said I have a sealed copy of Beyond for PS3 which I just never got around to playing so will be good to finally get involved - heard nothing but good.
Correcting a mistake is not 'sad'.
Mods, is it not about time we/you had a FAQ for those unfamiliar with the buying-Canadian-PSN-games process? It'd get hits aplenty, and not just through HUKD. Surely that's better than constantly pointing people towards an external site detailing the process for US games?
I read a bbc sports news article the other week that did exactly the same. Brought / bought we know what he meant don't we. Can't believe people still pick others up on this. Rant over.
But any way, pcgamessupply had a sale on the US $10 cards, £4.86. All I wanted was Bully, worked out even cheaper!
Should I play in chronological or cinematic order?
Plus if you're interested in trophies at all its one of the easiest platinums around
Thanks

Like someone suggested use a random Canadian address wen creating a new Canadian psn Id (think mines a pizza Hut sonewhere) but use a legit second email to verify Ur psn. N thats all is to it. From my understanding u can hv many psn accounts on a single ps4 machine n making it primary.
Ordering from pcgamesupply is easy n they email u the code immideietly. When setting up I got asked my phone number wasn't sure to giv it or not but they use it to verify details n thats it, owner of $20 Canadian.
Hope u guys enjoy the sale, great post
Next time put the title, cost and UK cost in 3 separate columns on the same row.
In the next row along put
=A1&" - "&B1&" "&C1
Copy the row and paste it as text and you have your text ready to put into the deal.
For the £ just do =B1/*enter exchange rate here"
Sorry to be that guy who asks.. Do I have to create a Canadian account and topup with Canadian dollar?
Edit: thanks silvercondor just read your post:)
The question is if you already gameshare with someone and their psn account is set as primary on your ps4 can you also set the Canadian account as primary on your ps4?
Cheers.
