This game needs to factor in the season pass given its barebones nature. So whilst £20 now, is it £20 with the season pass? No.

Therefore not a deal but more of a stealth approach to selling by the developer. Unless they halve the price of the season pass and sell this for £10 or less, Im passing.

Lol at description. Quite enjoyed this to be fair. Easily worth £19.99. Took me about 40+ hrs to achieve the platinum. Played quite a few games which have took far less. The Season Pass is expensive to be fair, but had to get it to keep the trophies at 100% :man::sunglasses:

I read all the negative comments about this game before buying but sad to say they were all correct. It's a nice looking game but I just couldn't get into it, apart from the day I got it I don't think I've played it since.

Its a Blizzard game and they're really really good at supporting console releases just like Diablo 3 still updated and in content exactly with pc version and they already said it would be the same for Overwatch._Also people are burned out by Battleborn after people realised its 30fps and also not that great so people are looking towards Overwatch now too.
I played the beta of Overwatch and its fantastic, if you ever played Team Fortress 2 its very very similar to that but improved and much more distinctive. All future maps and characters will be free via updates there'll be some minor non necessary microtransactions for some cosmetics but they can be earned. But yeah if you want a BO3 kinda shooter but with a slightly different twist and fresh definetly give Overwatch a go its alot of fun

I must admit I enjoy the odd game or two of Battlefront. Fighter Squadron is fun (balance could be better as Rebels seem to win more than they lose) as are the smaller Objective based games. I struggle in the larger modes (e.g Walker Assault) because I'm frankly rubbish but as I generally play for no more than an hour a few times a week the pick up & play nature of it suits me. My son bought the Season Pass (EA Access & Wuaki deal) so I can to try out the new stuff too. I my opinion it's well worth £20 for the base game but I totally agree that the Season Pass/DLC is over prived.

How would Overwatch compare to COD? I'm in the mood for COD gameplay but dont want to play Black ops 3 again as i'm burnt out on it if you know what i'm saying. I heard this has 60fps and gameplay looks good but not sure it will have a player base on consoles as it looks like a game mainly for PC.

Yep, it's not as fast paced as COD or as complex and tactical as Battlefield. Ideal for more casual gaming.

Serious question, as a casual gamer, I gave up online shooters due to the amount of hard core gamers I was up against, and fed up not being good enough to compete!
Is this as fun as people saying? I want a game to pick up and play, and be fun, for an hour or two of an evening, but to be able to actually play, rather than to spend my whole time 'respawning'!

It's a fun game. It keeps me entertained. Being a seasoned battlefront player I found it weird to have a 100% online game (I don't really play the single player stuff) but it is good.

People still pay full price on PS4 games? Even the most popular games like Black ops 3 have been discounted heavily just months after release. No one should be paying full price for games nowadays. We are on a deal site after all.

Gotta give some heat for less than 20 quid brand new, despite it being a bit of a rushed release and not being that great, its worth a punt at that price. Just gutted I paid the full whack on release.

I too waited until it was under £20 and got one from Rakuten for £18 with voucher and £1.80 I had in limited time points.

Theres a 8gb plus download patch that gives you loads more than the basic . Also the 'Deluxe' add on is half price on PSN which gives extra weapons and clothes.

I didn't like the game when it came out (borrowed a friends) but it has loads more now, for free. The multiplayer is excellent, especially the X-Wing fighting.

Downside is the season pass is still £40, which is a joke.

However, base game is worth £19.99 in my opinion.

£20 is what it's worth. Surprised it took this long to come down to this price.

My favourite game this generation, its only lacking content if you play for 5 hours a day. If you play for an hour or two a night like a lot of people there's more than enough. I've put many hours into the game and only scratched the surface. Heroes vs Villains is great fun with a few friends in a party!

Yes, for this trophy/achievement I did it on Supremacy on the map Graveyard Of Giants. Obviously you need to be on the Stormtrooper side. Once the first capture point is captured (Normally happens) the next one lasts a while, if you get the AT-ST pickup which is near a metal bunker thing not far from the big ship.. Try and crush the soldiers by running/walking over them. It's frustrating as its easy to walk over them but not on them! Eventually you will get people though. I had some terrible runs with no kills and other attempts with 6/7+ kills. This method can be done on all Supremacy and Walker Assault maps I believe, the best thing is to learn the spawns from playing/YouTube and keep going back to it. If you die or someone else dies in the AT-ST the pickup should re-appear at the spawn after about 30 seconds. It spawns in a certain place for each capture point and is always in the same place. I prefer the above one as you can sit in the metal bunker thing and hide until it appears again! Some are more in the open etc.

Keep playing and you will get it. You will get took down a lot by Ion Torpedos and Smart Rockets BUT keep at it.. You will get there! You can search for certain maps under what game mode you want as well if you did not know this.

Do Palpatine and Leah still have the re-heal power? Picked Leah up in a game of Extraction on a new map I think and the option has been taken away. Instead you can spawn pickup boosts for your team. Obviously this might not be affected in the Heroes game mode as you are against everyone. It might have been changed as some people can last forever with the re-heal ability.

Yeah Fighter Squadron should to be 400/500 kills and no AI! They have changed it now with an update. You used to get AI skills, human kills etc. It's just kills now.. Don't think the AI count still towards that trophy though! I have had the Millenium Falcon and Slave a few times. Prefer the Falcon over the two.

I tried vader but got pummeled right away haha, palpatine seems really good with the lightning and the range is good plus heals himself!!
Yeh Fighter squadron harder than I thought but really fun mode, ive had 4 kills its hard find a player and one is always the falcon so basically only 5 people to try, should be more players in a lobby!!

I can't remember who I used to be honest, did it before the DLC came out. I possibly used Skywalker or someone like that. My friend got the win easily as me and him got in a lobby which appeared full but loaded with just is in! I let him have the win. Walker Assault ain't to bad. You have to take an AT-AT down with a toe rope. There are good videos on YT for this. One of the worse trophies for me is the get 10 kills in Fighter Squadron! The games are no where near long enough, AI kills do not count and it's really hard to get one kill! Haha.

I was tempted to pick this up- can't help but think it's worthwhile waiting on a complete edition being released. Although by then the lobbies might be dead and you'll spend a fortnight waiting to start a game. Can anyone comment on how busy they are at the moment?

Great game, I paid £44 for it. Worth the money considering other games which offer single players have horrible multiplayer modes.

Xbox one version is listed at £40 odd quid, unless I'm missing something, anyone got the link to the £19.99 price?

Prob the hardest is win that one as the games are so long and it's just luck to get the kill to be the hero. Just keep trying and hopefully you get Noobie opponents!

Alot more content than I thought, plenty game modes for multiplayer plus battle mode, missions, survival. plenty content for £20 and able to play some modes offline!
