The main thing to watch out for is the physical size. It must be 2.5-inch to fit.
Maximum storage available is 2TB, will likely set you back around £60-70. Probably worth buying that over a 1TB, to future-proof it.
I dint know that. Will have to get on and upgrade. Anything I need to look for to ensure its compatible? I know its a SATA drive but computer tech is a little out of my comfort zone.

I have a PS4 and XBOX One. If I have the choice I often choose the XBOX One version because I have a 2tb external drive and have plenty of space available. My PS4 is full but still in warranty so not upgraded storage yet. Juggling games on the PS4 is a pain.

Upgrading the HDD on PS4 doesn't void the warranty. In fact, Sony even include instructions in the PS3/PS4 manuals on how to change the drive yourself. It's a simple process.

I had read all sorts about the supposed graphical advantage the PS4 had so bought a PS4 first. Then when all the good deals for games, especially the dirt cheap digital games on XBOX one I decided to get an XBOX too. In reality I have not noticed any difference in graphics on the XBOX and I am well pleased with it. Having the ability to plug in any external drive for storage is a big bonus for me.

If you're a social gamer, then whatever your friends are playing. If not, then whatever one has the games you'd want. Other than that and regardless of what each side says, there's next to no difference. Some people make out the gulf between the PS4 and X1 is akin to atop end PC v a low end PC. They're deluded by their purchase and feel they have to justify it regardless of how nonsical the claims they spout are.
Me personally, I prefer the PS4, but i still use my X1 from time to time.

Wow the price is just dropping and dropping. How much were 360s going for when the Xbox one came out?
Is it just an illusion or has this generation prices fallen much quicker than the last did?

Pretty sure there was a deal for £99 for Xmas which went hot! (for a 360!)

I'm quite concerned about those sharp corners.

gooner mentioned DPD is included, I didn't try tbh. But to be fair, a reasonable number of Xbox one deal have come up in the past few days from Rakuten which seems to give better choices. As I said, HEAT added! :stuck_out_tongue:

Plus the £5.95 for DPD. We're moving further away now mate

I'd also recommend watching a guide on YouTube first of the whole process, to get a better idea. E.g. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd_nESKuswk
