​I really don't get it. Over the years I've been Fifa, I've been Pro Evo... But everyone says this game is brilliant! I find it to have such bad game play, is totally unresponsive and just a bad game to play. Just downloaded Fifa on EA access. Already seems better...

just picked up my copy i'd reserved, had to go to the counter to see a person to honour the £13.99 price though sicne it had increased, no problem whatsoever for them.

I dunno dude, I respectfully disagree. I got FIFA 16 at launch, and for two or three months I couldn't defend properly, and all my attacking was ineffective (defenders actually catching up to fast players in on goal) after years of being pretty good and loving the flow- then I realised I play FIFA like a troll, relying on the pace of Ronaldo and those constant lobbed through-balls which were way too effective/trollable in previous iterations. I worked on my build-up play, my tactics, reexamined my idea of a good touch, how to make space ect.

Now I think FIFA 16 is one of the best football games I've ever played! But I guess I haven't played Pro Evo in so long- I'm not really sure what that's actually like.

dude if your into having good football matchs get this as fifa is really bad this year and tbh if it's just because fifa has names then really you don't know quality

same for me. gone up to 16.99 what a cheap trick. Unless you paid for it at 13.99 you will have to pay the higher price.

Can't make up my mind, I haven't played Pro Evo since FIFA10. Prior to that it was my go to football game. This year I started off hating FIFA 16 (and came close to returning and switching to PES) but now I think it has some of the best tweaks of recent years, particularly how it forces you to properly vary how you attack. On top of that, I know it shouldn't matter, but I do hate it when a football game doesn't have all the kit licensing and so on.

I have tried so hard to like PES, I really have, but it's just not for me. That doesn't make it bad in the slightest, just not something I enjoy at all. I do wish Fifa would steal it's in depth career mode though.

Sorry it is fluid enough but the actual progression is quite sluggish and predictable. It is like watching Villa vs Sunderland on a wet weds

Havn't played the latest Fifa, but can't you turn the frequency down?

I loved it last year and hammered it but the 16 version feels often like playing in sludge and is to heavy in midfield and does not flow. I might try this one if only for the fun factor.

I hate Fifa this year, every tackle results in a foul being given. The slide tackle might as well be taken away as a feature

for those with EA Access, sell your Fifa and get this as its gonna be on the vault soon!!

I like the game, however the issue with the licenses for me is a deal breaker, I have it on PC patched up with real kits and stadiums and it's 10x better.

Well I've just had one final game and I just don't get it!!!! Infact...the game is very bad for my health...

Wow bargain! Been playing myclub nearly everyday since I got it at the end of October, and still haven't touched Master League yet which was what I bought this game for lol. Great game. Full manual all the way :wink:

Isnt there a Free Euro 2016 update due?
I prefered FIFA this year (was quite close!), however - the latest update to FIFA has made online play impossible.
So will give PES another go

I have both, paid a tenner for this for Smyths. Fifa is a much better all round experience this year especially for depth of modes and realism but at this price and with the half a license EUROs free dlc its worth a look.

Im glad they didn't charge for the Euro DLC because in all fairness its not what you would expect.

Heat though and great that we have two football games to choose from.

Is it correct that it should take ages to find a match for online game play.... It can take up to 5 minutes sometimes... Then you end up playing with opponents that are not the same level as you...

FIFA 16 is bad this year, the UT and licences sell it for me, but the gameplay on pes is more realistic, so I couldn't resist the euro add on at £19.

Having played the free PES MyClub, the gameplay just doesn't do it for me tbh. Try downloading the demo etc and see if it's for you before buying this.

Amazing game. I've been a P.E.S man for years now but if I was a FIFA man I would certainly give it a go for this price. I would do the same if this happened with FIFA just to try and play my mates that play it.

Load your front line with loads of pace, sprint around like a moron, and then (after losing your umpteenth consecutive game) realise that you're not playing FIFA against 14 year olds anymore...

I changed to Fifa after PES 6 and played the demo of this and thought it was awful. I thought the same of Fifa after being a PES fan for years.

Your brain just needs to readjust to the fact its not Fifa, but once you get to grips with it, its really good.
