Was in York Gate Asda Living. A shelf into the right as you go in the doors is full of cold and flu tablets, cough syrups included Beechams and other well know brands all for just 30p
I got 2 boxes of Panadol Extra soluble tablets, paracetamol + caffeine from £3 to just 30p!! Bargain.
Only problem is you can only buy 2 products at a time. So have to pay multiple times. Expiry date on tablets I bought is 09/2019 so not a close date.
Hope this is in other Asda Livings too!

how is it a ridiculous post if there's a 90% saving on original
price?? think someone's a bit jealous that there asda living doesn't have them in stock. hukd isn't just for nationwide deals.. there's always store specific ones (not that I knew this was store specific on posting - I don't work for asda) :sunglasses:

They use both yellow and red stickers. Yellow don't normally need manual intervention as they have a reduction barcode on them with the reduced price in most case. Red have the reduced price printed on them and no barcode so need to be price overide at the till by member of staff and if the reduction difference between normal price and reduced price is over a certain amount (i think it's £5 or more) a supervisor needs to overide it. Yellow is mainly used for food reductions in chillers and red is normally found on things like none foods and food on the none chilled aisles. However regrdless of whether yellow or red stickers are used it will always be a store specific reduction.

this must have been the reason for the massive delay as a woman infront of me last week had a pile of yellow stickered stuff that needed supervisor overrides
did see lots of mucus cough stuff and kids medicines especially.....
i expect the asda rule is really a max of 2 paracetemol and 2 ibuprofen etc, not certain but very often the staff dont understand their own rules on this
