Have you looked up what LSD rechargeables are and appreciated the difference? These will self-discharge relatively quickly so are unsuitable for the low-drain devices you mention, like conventional remote controls, or torches where you'd expect them to be usable after months sitting idle. And Xbox remote controls don't even use this size - they use AAs.
No, they are an old technology which has been superceded.

Hardly, I have some in my computer keyboard, kitchen timer and at least one other device. 16 is a lot though for AAA.

What's the point in these, really? About the only use is cordless phones, where they are left on charge all the time - and who needs 16 for that? Fairly outrageous capacity claim too - don't be fooled by it. Buy the LSD types and save yourself so much hassle in the long run.

Remote controls, wireless xbox pad, kids toys, torches, walkie talkies, fans, automatic air fresheners..... These aren't exclusive to electronics which can charge themselves if you have a standalone battery re-charger.

Showing as £16.99 for me - is the price quoted for Prime members? If so, you should make that clear in the title/description.
