This is like the COD:WAW of C&C titles, then they went on to destroy it bit by bit :disappointed:
Acknowledged.

Works a treat with Windows 10 and the Shockwave mod too. Now I must return to my base where I'm told China will grow larger...

I haven't tried all of them but all the ones I have tried all run on Win 8.1 so it should run on 10 as well.

Can you still play these online?

Only the recent ones.
Fan-made versions of the super old ones (C&C / Red Alert) are far better than EA's craptastic cash-in rehashes. Gamespy is mostly at fault for rudely not existing anymore. I guess you can feel better about downloading them if you own a license.
You can still play some of the older games using This Link

The Facebook code changes VERY regularly. If you don't checkout quickly, it'll change.

Such great games. Many late nights playing red alert 2 linkups.
Are any of the later games any good? C&C 3/4?

Cold doesn't include Dune II (kidding - voted hot). Can;t understand why the early C&C have not been ported onto Android or IOS - they'd make a fortune.

Would be a cool idea as they did try consoles (Red Alert on PS1; Red Alert 3 on PS3 iirc) but not certain how easily the interfaces would work - Always felt a little forced using controller vs mouse & keyboard. Personally, I think it might need too many 'buttons' or gestures to work properly on tablets to be playable, but you never know!
Great price for the collection in any event - still hold up really well even on modern pcs!
On a related note - has anyone ever tried running the collection on OSX either using WINE/Parallels? I've got a notion to go back and play these, and don't feel like having to run a full virtual machine on my macbook to do it (or digging out my old windows laptop!!)

Multiplayer does not work as the servers are long gone, you can only play against the AI

The wii U is perfect for a port of this using the stylus. It'll never happen but it should have done!
