Have you checked the independent reviews? They've been tested successfully in the London Marathon. They're cheap because there's no advertising, branding, shops with sales people and bulk buying a limited size range. They are not like Sports Direct own and the like. They are as good as a mid range running shoe from a major brand. Don't just take my word for it. Do the research and see for yourself.

Not bad, but for £19.99 the Aldi Premium Running shoes (which came in store on Thursday) are of superior quality and specification.
