I've always found that the Henry range picks up Shake N Vac like no over brand of vacuums.

I'd get one, but my cat's already neurotic, this would be ten times worse than the pedestal fan...

You feel more natural when it's Hetty sucking as opposed to Henry. Well worth the money for the amount of pleasure and sucking it will do.

Any difference in performance between 600w motor and 900w motor? This one is 600w

Good point. I think most people sharing positive experiences will have the 900w version with Low/High suction button (or no button - constant high). My henry is fantastic for builders dust and cleaning the car.
Although I'd recommend the extra turbo brush attachment for longer pile carpets, especially for pet hair
(I think the linked one is a 'copy' - I bought an official one from ebay for about the same price) Turbo brush head thingy

Seems like the newer model with the 620watt motor is as good as the old one it replaces, and it's meant to be quieter!!

We got our Henry in 2011 and it's been outstanding. Not sure what power it is though but it does have the red switch for higher power.

It is given a Miele vacuum cleaner is a superior machine for £2 more...

Superior Superior colour? Superior shape? Superior name tag? Come on. We're all interested in your full assessment and facts to back up your claim

Other than having used a Hetty/Henry and found it to be utterly useless and unreliable compared to a Miele vacuum, Miele's are very often Best Buy's on various consumer websites and win a multitude of independent awards..
I know the truth hurts, but keep your chin up son...

Well we have several Henry's at work and they've all lasted for many years considering the crap they have to put up with. I wouldn't call them unreliable at all.

Ah. Anecdotal evidence. I can't compete with that.
Regardless, I vote hot. Good deal.

I've got better things to do than count awards. I wish you and your vacuums all the happiness in the world. Peace out.

I own a cleaning company and we use the whole range of these vacuum cleaners.
For the money they are best, and we have tried all the makes. Tough little machine's this lot.
