Microsoft Office Home 365 Subscription Premium 1 Year 5 Users For Mac And Windows Users!

PRICE REDUCED FOR A LIMITED TIME, ADD TIME TO YOUR ACCOUNTS!

Had a few of last years Microsoft devices that came with Office 365 Premium keys from hukd, but some expired and are expiring, so used this seller on eBay to extend some accounts in the last week.

Also physically, as in called, as in rang, as in no stupid live chat windows.. Microsoft to check 3 of the 5 purchased.. all ones we checked were ok to
add to existing Office 365 Home accounts..

Not sure if there will be many hukd members that do not have an actual
MS Office 365 account, after the spate of Office deals and codes here last year, but this WORKS 100% with a new signup and new email as well!

Lowest price we can find, but if anyone can beat £39.95 for a years premium
with 5 devices, please post it!

>>>>>
Seller has had a massive influx of orders, so I have mailed them to ask
if they can put the sale price back on, as feel it only went up due to the
large amount of sales and maybe they thought.. "what the hell is hukd!"

Update coming..

>>>>>
9:36pm UK time

Price now back to £39.95 ladies and gents ;-)

Hurry as this reduction, after it increased a little while
ago from the lower price, is limited and I am not sure if the
seller will do it again @£40 for us!!

vpn, extending your current MS account etc etc.. please ask
the seller by ebay messaging as they are more than helpful ;-)

Only slightly cheaper and a bit of a faff but you could buy a 365 Personal account for around £30 on eBay and then £7.99 to convert to Home 365 as outlined here
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/upgrade-existing-office-365-personal-1-user-office-365-home-5-users-for-1-off-7-2135803

The advantage of this method is you can stack subscriptions and get 5 PCs covered for up to 5 years at £30 ish a year

I can't speak for 2010, but I bought Office 2007. It is fairly up to date with the ribbon menus. I have OneNote, Word, Excel and PowerPoint with.... no subscription.

No way would I pay a subscription.

If I did not already have 2007 I would use Google Docs which is perfectly good for most non power users.

With Office 365, you will be blocked from using the program after your subscription has expired. However, the Office applications won’t be removed from your computer. Instead, the applications will enter the reduced function mode, in which some features are disabled and you may only be able to view and print existing files. You can renew the subscription and make the applications fully functioned at any time.

>>>>>
Nope Sanj, not a dumb question, the subscription for this version is 5 devices, 5 users for 12 months use
after which, if you buy another 12 months [it comes in 6 month chunks] you can update your subscription
to 2 years for another £39 ;-)

This is *currently* the easiest way to extend the years and afawk the lowest price by quite a bit!

>>>>>
No need to spend £100 on 4 bits of software, that you cannot update after you buy them, when you can just buy this / extend this for 3 years for roughly the same price and get all the updates & 5TB of storage! Plus updates for free, every time they are released to the wild ;-)

16 Apr 16 1 #17
I assume Tomb means, what was the last version of Office that you could just buy and install a retail version of rather sign up to on a subscription basis. You can still do it but, unless you've got some sort of corporate discount with your employer, they still charge 'quite a bit' for Office. The RRP is in the hundreds but my employer has a discount deal for under £10 for Office Plus I think it's called. Office 365 will give you all the updates/upgrades to Office, rather than being stuck on Office 2010 but, for some folk, it's ideal to stick with a version that they know how to use and Microsoft don't go and change stuff.

Edit: Youngy just beat me to it, but that version doesn't include Access and other bits

Libreoffice or Apache are free, so I have no clue how MS can get away with charging this much, or even using a subscription method! These prices are ridiculous, if I wanted to use the Microsoft version that much I'd definitely be going down the kms route instead.

Oh, why can't I sell the other 4? Is it just illegal or it wouldn't even work? have no use for them at all as family already has office suites and I don't want/need OneDrive.

I am still wondering if I should buy directly from Microsoft. The thing is, Microsoft offers a 30 back guarantee with refund in case I don't like it. Also I would rather pay the £7.99 a month to see if I like it. The only thing I'm wondering is if it's a 12 month contract or a rolling monthly contract? I would rather buy from Microsoft directly just so I can directly profit them.

know why you would not like it, if everyone in your family already has it?

1TB for nothing anywhere else that works fluidly with the Office suite!

Oh, cool.

The thing is, I've deliberately left Office 2003 on my family's computers and not upgraded, because they're elderly and it would take them long to get used to the new versions. Ever since Office 2007 they changed it to that ribbon and the whole flashy theme which I still find less intuitive and weird. I grew up with the old style and I still prefer that style. I don't know if I could get used to the new look. Now you might laugh, but the only programs I use to create documents right now are Notepad and Wordpad that come with Windows. Yep, Notepad! I love Notepad because it's so resource un-resource-intensive and simple. The only reason really I'd even want to get Microsoft Word is for formatting and spelling check, but spelling check I don't need that much as I use dictation.

OneDrive is one of those things that I think I'd never use. Given that I work mainly with documents that take what, 100KB of storage each at the most. I would never come close to using 1TB let alone 5!

If I do buy this from the eBay seller, will I still be profiting Microsoft indirectly, in a way? Because I know I could probably pirate this (except for the Skype minutes and OneDrive), but the whole reason I want to buy it is to profit/make a contribution to the software publisher. 17 Apr 16 #65
There are lots of legitimate ways to achieve this - if any of your children are in full time primary or secondary education they are entitled to this suite under the C2K scheme. There was a post about this on here! I believe it's any C2K school and not just limited to Northern Ireland... It's £8 from an employer (no subscription deals though) if they use the enterprise subscription license agreement (it's a perk that many companies fail to take advantage of!) The cheaper/lesser license agreements don't provide this "perk", if your company uses volume license keys then you can sign up for a similar home user deal (it mirrors what office applications you have). You can download the full office suite and legally "rearm" it up to 3 times, thats 180 days of full application use, you don't get the subscription perks (Office 2013 instead of Office 365)

Update 11am Sun 17th April

The price is now back down to the £39 to £41 [depending on rate] mark again ladies and gents ;-)

Again, not sure how long this price will be live, but it seems to be in blocks
of 50, which sort of makes sense, as that is around the amount that bulk
VL holders with MS get a discount!

For anyone struggling with the making of a new account, adding to an old
account, extending a nearly run out account, follow the instructions from
the seller [who by the way has a verified paypal money back status listed
as a business seller.

I have asked if I can use the instructions, but it was greeted with a blank
as to "Can I post them here on hukd" so do not want to rock the apple
cart while the price is discounted again ;-)

Weirdly, a few here, who I am assuming have yet to get it one at the
less than RRP price, are referring to the issued keys and confirmation
of said keys as a bit dodgy.. which is WHY prior to posting this deal &
after buying some and taking one for the hukd, I posted it AFTER as
in AFTER contacting Microsoft UK and checking that my subscription
would not only work, but also that I could pay over the phone to add
to the one I had purchased from this seller.. both MS UK & MS France
said I could extend my just made account, with the 6 month term upto
another 4.5 years..

I *think* that the licences are issued under the MSVP program and are
not student or promo ones, as they are in a slightly different alphanumeric
sequence to these ones, they are not retail ones as they again seem to be
in a different alphanumeric sequence.. so for £39 which is still a lot of £ for
something that Bill should give for free as he don't need the money anymore
and is donating his fortune away.. I happy I got some..

Is that a joke? Why do you feel that Bill Gates/Microsoft should give this software away for free? Just because the company is successful they shouldn't profit? I've never understood this viewpoint. Everyone seems to expect to get everything for free these days. It's the whole "open access" malarky. I'm perfectly happy handing my money over to Microsoft for good software that I will get a lot of professional use out of and in fact will make money from. Not trying to be confrontational, I just don't agree with that attitude.

Unbelievable isn't it. I love the fact this person refers to Microsoft as "Bill", like its a one man start-up. Apparently once a founder gets super rich he/she shouldn't care about the employees and just bankrupt the company. I sincerely hope this person isn't a company director :-o

Unfortunately sticking with old unsupported versions leaves you open to vulnerabilities which Microsoft no longer patch. 2003 has been out of support for over 2 years, with hackers reverse engineering patches it does leave you open to hacks. Would need to be extra vigilant to email attachments etc.
Also ref OneDrive, it's good for backing up your files, especially photos or accessing your files from multiple devices. I use around 6GB for photos etc and find it very useful.

Single, I didn't need the other four subscriptions.

Thanks for the help 008, I do appreciate that but you understand everyone is entitled to choice of what they buy. Not everyone needs all 5 subscriptions, which is why I shared that. And Microsoft seems to offer a no quibble 30 day cancellation period, yes PayPal's is longer but more work of not going directly through the seller.

Not sure if it's been said already but if you only need two devices go buy a Linx 7 for ~£35 which should come with it free, or another cheapo Windows tablet (new ones sell on eBay for £35 with awful specs but free office), then remove the Linx off your Office account and you have two spare installs, then sell the Linx to CeX / eBay etc etc

MS Office Start used to be free on Windows 7 or 8. If you fresh install Windows 10 it's not included. I recently discovered you can download it (from a non-MS site, find a reputable one) and with some fiddling about like installing an MS KB patch and running compatibility troubleshooter/Windows 7 mode, cut down versions of Word and Excel do work.

This eBay seller has a nice tactic. Keep putting the price up and down so each time you think, "Oh, I wish I'd bought it!" and then "Wow, it's back down! I'd better buy it quick!"
008
25 Apr 16 #112
>>>>>
If you read the thread, you will see it is not a tactic, they are supplying them in bulk, then not
selling any at the higher price, then selling them in another block..

That is why we keep contacting them, as when it is NOT £39-£41 [depending on how you pay!]
they are selling none..

Just bit the bullet & bought one. (Upgrading from Office 2007 so never used the subscription service).

Thinking ahead to next year when this runs out......

- Could I buy another to keep for a year then use it when it expires? (or would that be a bit dodgy).
- Can you stack subscriptions? (so buy another now & use it so I have 2 years till it runs out?)
- Should I just hold off and hope there are deals in a year?

Ta for any advice.
misa426
27 Apr 16 #123
Got it for £34! Seeing as I paid £27 for the single license for Microsoft I might as well cancel and refund that then!
Tomb
28 Apr 16 1 #124
Answering my own question.

You can stack the subscriptions (? for up to 5 years).

In the email I got from the seller it says that he will discount further years bought & when I inquired the price quoted is:

- one extra year $47.49 (5% off the current $49.99 price)
- 2 extra years $91.98 (8% off the current selling price)
- 3 extra years $134.99 (10% off current selling price)

(although I imagine this might change dependent of whatever the current selling price is).

Another handy thing to note is that (apologies if already highlighted elsewhere in thread) is that if you agree to auto-renew the subscription each time you enter one of the 6 month keys you get an extra month free.

You can then cancel the auto renew immediately (& before you enter the next key to do the same again).

As I am going to buy the extra 3 years (for $134.99) if I they supply me with another 6 x 6 month keys I will actually have 4 years and 8 months in total as opposed to the 4 years I bought (including the initial years purchase).

One point to be aware of is that when you cancel the auto-renew in your account the system makes it look as if you are in fact cancelling the whole account - very sneaky of Microsoft & designed to put people off hitting that cancel button. You just have to go ahead with the cancel auto-renew then the next page is a check / "are you sure" page which clarifies that your subscription does continue and it is just the auto-renew that is cancelled).
008
28 Apr 16 1 #125
>>>>>
Nicely answered Tomb ;-)

>>>>>
Can confirm [as already mentioned way back] that these have been used as an extension to an old
account that expired, a new account with 1 x 6 months, a new account with 5 years worth and also
that each 1tb of data given to each user is not accessible by anyone else in the 5 device users..
eg: 5tb in total, so if you send the other 4 to yourself, you get 5tb via 4 extra email setups eg:
youremailhere @gmail.com then youremailhere+1 @gmail etc etc > cheap, secure and 100%
on point cloud storage you can auto sync all your devices to.. including photos on the fly!
Tomb
28 Apr 16 1 #126
Good to know, that's me just finished adding my extra 3 years to the 1 year I had already bought.

It took a wee while what with toggling the "auto-renew" option on and off :-)

Well worth it though - for grand total of $185 (under £130) my 5 user subscription is now valid for the next 4 years and 8 months.

Add into that the fact that I have 3 other "family members" on board with this - its costing us around £30 each for over 4 1/2 years 365 and 1tb OneDrive.

Happy days....

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned... in order to activate them I had to go to setup.office.com, paste my code in to there and follow the instructions to sign in with my account (which I already had). I couldn't find another way of doing it within my account.

Took less than 5-minutes and works like a charm - thank you very much!

008
9 May 16 #134
>>>>>
Yes, you can single stack or add up to the full 5 years subscription [have done this and it works] via
these subscriptions.

Yes/No, you can use your existing email [which a lot of people do] or you can simply got to outlook.com
and make a new one just for using all of the MS office / windows / cortana software&hardware features
across all your windows based devices ;-)

>>>>>

No, all five users' installs expire at the same date. You can't stack each user in the one year subscription to make it five years.
008
9 May 16 #136
>>>>>
Have you got nothing else to do, other than post negative remarks about everything in this thread?

You purchased it direct from MS, then you did not, then you saved a £1 by buying it again, then you
state that it is not what you wanted, then it is not good enough for you as you do not need 5 devices
and now you are either struggling to use the purchase correctly [if you ever did buy one] to do what
many hundreds of buyers have been able to do..

There are a *few* MS accounts that will not be able to stack or extend or use these codes for the
longer term, mainly those that are old and obviously not real to MS, some that are old and have
used mickey mouse codes in the past that were scrapped from old oem junked hardwares and a
few accounts where people have opened one, paid, then opened another, used a mickey mouse
code and then struggled to follow the instructions supplied by this seller..

Try and keep your comments, at least if you are going to repetitively flame a thread on hukd to
at least one bit of common sense..
misa426
9 May 16 #137
I think either I or you have misunderstood bobjeet. I take his question to be whether using the SINGLE code, or two sets of codes for the total of one year, with each giving one year per user x5, does that mean each user can be stacked five times to give you five years from one single purchase? My understanding is you can't, or what would be the point in buying more codes if one year's (premium) worth lasts for five years?
bobjeet
11 May 16 1 #138
I asked the seller and he says that it will only last a maximum year, i was asking if i bought this and only used in on one device (my pc) then i could not continue using it for 5 years. I have went on and bought it as i know some people need a copy too so works out really cheap over the year! Thanks op
