I'd buy a NES or Master System on ebay if I had time to play them. So I am gonna respectfully disagree, and say its never to late to buy a Wii U, if you have the time to play it, there is good value and great fun to be had.

The Wii U might be a pensioner now, but it has a strong heartbeat, pulse is normal, BMI is good, plenty life in the old dog yet.

So it comes with everything that you need to play?
Tempted to get rid of my Xbox One and get this. Want something I can play with the kids like Wii U and may also look for an older console like ps2/3 for some retro/cheap games.

Good point that, I find this also. The type of socket the EURO plugs use are okay for a EURO plug to go into. But because there is less connection with the couple of thin prongs rather than 3 sturdy connectors like on a UK plug, you do end up having something loose rather than rigid. Is quite easy to dislodge them, and you might find your Wii U unexpectedly and disappointingly goes off.

I agree. I also own Xbone and PS4, but a Wii U gives me something neither of those consoles can. I play PS4 much more as a single player, but when mates come round the Wii U always gets the vote. Who doesn't love playing Mario Kart against mates/family?

I'd consider the seller here (Pixel Electronics) and make sure your happy and satisfied to go ahead with a purchase with them. I have an Euro Wii U console that I purchased from Alza. It is as people describe exactly the same except for the plugs at the end of the cable.
My 2 adapters were not more than a few quid from ASDA. What you might want to consider also is the adapters mean you need a little more space. Probably not an issue for most, but if you have a tiny space to fit your plug in underneath your TV unit it could be a minor issue. Or if its going straight into a wall behind your TV unit, it may result in you having to sit your TV unit further from the wall than you might have liked.

It has 2 power adaptors, one for the console and one for the gamepad charger,so 2 plug converters are needed.other than that there is no difference between EU and UK model.
I have the UK model, but I'd definitely buy a EU machine in the future if it works out cheaper.a plug converter is nothing to worry about.

Can someone pls tell me how many UK power adapters does it need? Just converter plug or the complete cable with UK plug?
Is it the only difference if we buy from Rakuten.
