Isn't as good as the previous argos offer mentioned a few weeks ago however having had jumped back up to £320 briefly it is currently back down to £280 online.
There does seem to be a stock issue in store with this phone nor is it listed in their catalogue however I have to say the delivery service is the best I have experienced.
I ordered my phone in store around 12.30 booked it in for the afternoon delivery 2-6pm and it was at my front door by 3.15.

Do you own a smartphone? If so, what OS? Just curious, does it have a half eaten Apple on the back?
Non intuitive, makes way too many mistakes. Has conflicting menus and operands.
From a software perspective (and I used to design software architecture) it feels as though it was designed by a group of people who never met, did not share a common plan and who were poorly managed, resulting in a bad end product.
Mine is going to my child to play with.

It runs stock Android. So, are you criticising the phone or the OS? Just curious!

Have just got one and really pleased with it. Running Marshmallow 6 and very straightforward to use.

I'm someone that uses android on a daily basis, but I put no value on stock android.
To me it seems like the os is perennially catching up and adding features that OEMs have been offering for years.

Well I've never found anything added by a manufacturer or network that I actually found useful. Perhaps Cyanogenmod might work for you?

This seems like a decent price and it runs stock Marshmallow but I agree it does feel rather disjointed and less slick than it could have been, in fact it feels a bit similar to how Windows10 is on a PC, a fairly decent OS (stability wise) that feels like it's been a marriage of designs that don't quite gel together. A beta if you will.
And yes I have stock marshmallow on a couple of phones .

Yes, good analysis.

I wonder if it's still scanning at £249 like it was before?

Wearing it on the sleeve a bit there, maybe?

I was talking about the software but in regards to the phone, a month in and the buttons are not as sharp as say a Samsung or a LG premium phone. Over long term usage, that is going to matter to some and not to others.
Battery too is great, then shocking. It falls off a cliff around 30/40% and yet is god from 100% down to there. Strange.

I tent to agree. Coming from concurrently, Samsung S5, Note 3, Asus Zenfone 2, getting it to actually "do" the stuff all the other phones do naturally, takes way too much effort.
Heck, you cannot even carriage return on a SMS so just a single paragraph. Now it may be possible by tweaking this and that but why not just have a [RETURN] key on the keypad and allow a carriage return ?
Who on earth doesn't want that and if you don't then simply don't press the button !

S6 all the way. Unless you want to go back to basics.

I've got the 16gb version.
Other than the camera, I honestly prefer my smart ultra 6. Better battery life, just as quick in use (nippier on sites like betfair), screen is as good if not nicer, camera is quicker, SD card support, no USB C and its £100. Can't wait till vodafone repair it so I can have it back! Will give this to the wife.

You can return on Google's default keyboard, you simply hold shift and the smiley key turns into a return key. If you don't like that you could always change to a different keyboard.

You press shift and get a Return key it's been on android keyboards for ages, and in fact it's a standard way of getting a carriage return on PCs and has been for years.

Yeah £260 on Amazon.
Tempted to get one of these to replace my Galaxy S5+ g901f which is seeming a little sluggish these days. Not sure though...
However, on all my PCs and on my previous Asus and Samsung Android phones, there is a dedicated carriage return on the keyboard, so no searching around.
I am sure most "lost" functionality is there, but who on earth wants to have to dig around to find it when other manufacturers have sorted out how it needs to be presented donkeys ago ?

might be missing a few frequency bands, so check your network first.
