Lol you haven't got a clue mate. Three is an in dependant network provider who have built their own masts. They've been voted the most reliable network as well so quit you're whining. If you look at the additional services Three offer compared to other network providers its in a different league.

Lol this network don't even care about customers and the coverage is a rubbish as O2 and Three also has probs anywhere. Who can agree?! Even arguing over the phone they always argue back at you! Kinda funny and unprofessional. Just another little compny thinking their the best thingg in thw world!

still good for £30 especially if your in spain for the summer holidays as the kids can use the data then when they want

Not the cheapest, but ideal for occasional use or for silver surfers to check the news, emails etc. Admittedly the 1p for 1gb would've been better but finding 12 of those is impossible so this is the best option to stick in a tablet and forget about. Hopefully, EE will bring back their 100gb this summer.
Thanks OP btw

The one plan was nice while it lasted, but I agree about the "Feel at home" thing - in every country I used Three's roaming in, it was practically unusable, even though I had full signal, and people who had local phones on the same network were fine.
Oh, and three's customer service is by far the worst. Also I've not found their network to be terribly reliable, to me, Vodafone who I'm with now are far more reliable.

6 Apr 16#65
I disagree, when I was on the One plan I never got 12 months Netflix with Three all they offer extra over other providers is being able to use data abroad which I found to be next to useless as its heavily throttled by the local providers.
Also for me Vodafone data is a lot better than Three faster and I don't get throttled all the time, Three did me a favor stopping the One plan I actually found out what a poor company they really are.

Who even cares about Three they treat everybody like a peice of ****. Head over to their FB page they give up too it's shoddy service and people leave them so fast as they can. Looks very bad to me. Ex Three customer here too! The coverage has problems almost everyday everywhere and guess what they don't even have a coverage footprint, they hang on to the EE masts well Orange's. Three = no go.

THIS IS A DATA SIM!
You can't stick a normal sim into a MiFi device, the network provider will simply block it from accessing the data network!

Last year I used 3 at home in Tenerife on a nexus 4, I had to reboot the phone to actually get the data connection to work, but it then worked flawlessly for a week on 3G at good speeds including Skype video. I cannot vouch for 4G as the phone wasn't capable.

Some don't get the fact it lasts upto 12 months as that is the deal, 12gb isn't alot of data, but its a fair amount if you are only browsing and checking emails and not doing any streaming. 3 people in my household are contracted to use up to 2gb per month in total and we haven't gone above that in 2 years. At home we use WiFi which gets hammered with on average 200gb+ per month.

Paying extra for 4G sucks. We believe you should get fast internet at no extra cost. That's why Three offers 4G at no extra cost. All you need is a 4G tablet and be in a 4G area. Bought one from Three shop 2 weeks ago a day before leaving to Tenerife. I checked with them it will work the following day and it did. But you need to register and activate it first before you leave UK.
I used in my Huawei E5573 MIFI and although I could see 3 different 4G networks it would only connect to 3G (mainly Movistar) I didn't mind, because Skype with Video or facebook worked well over 3G. I used about 2.5GB over 10days. Facebook uses a lot of data, so beware. With Huawei HiLink app you can control what you use. No longer I need to look for free hotspots or expensive hotel WIFIs abroad.

The whole point of this is its for fairly low data usage (ie. 1gb per month) people like myself, if you eat data then its not for you, I currently have the t mobile sim with the £20 6 month internet which runs out in a few weeks in my dual sim phone.
I get bad 3 reception at home so wont be getting this, however this is a good deal and is hot from me.

For my parents who are retired, they go to spain or Canaries about 4 times a year. (cheap flights outside school holidays) this is exactly what they need.
Enough data to use a mifi to get the home newspapers and send a few emails, which will last them a year
