I really like mine except battery life is poor, I'm not a heavy user and still don't get a day.

I've got this phone, I love it, battery is fine for a days use for me, no worse than any other smart phone I've had

Excellent phone, got one last year with a leather back - very nice to stroke . Great display, battery lasts me more than a day, does all that I need from a smartphone. Ok, not now cutting-edge but a very capable and premium feeling phone for not very much money. Heat.

How is the return/repair policy of buying from Germany eventhough it's Amazon. Would I have to pay for postage etc?

I agree. Being an AMOLED screen, it should be more efficient than LCD I believe, but obviously there's loads of other variables as stated.

It's not the best to compare different systems and battery capacity. If it's the same OS and similar processor and RAM, it's not so bad, but with a different screen type, resolution, processor, OS and mayber RAM, the 5 inch iPhones are very different power consumption wise from this Motorola.

Brilliant phone for the price , but I'm sure that marshmallow is its last update (but still a great deal)

I saw your comment & thought 'how bad could the battery be'...then checked the specs and it's 2300mAh!
That is criminal! I expect some of the budget Chinese models to skimp on the battery but not Motorola, esp given their great all day battery triumphs with the Moto G!
