I think you are right, it is a 5-part episode game. Well, it was originally. But I guess it's been popular so the company is going to milk it - there will be another 3 further episodes and they will be pushed out in the summer, just in time for the summer break...
I just hope they have a conclusion in episode 5, as I don't want to buy those extended episodes.
Me and my son played this on XBOX One the other day, and its very enjoyable.. we only played up to episode 4 as we are going to wait for episode 5,6,7 before we start a new story. Id say it would help if you have played a little minecraft before, or a lot of it will be pretty confusing.
Each episode consists of about 1-2 hours play..

There are more than 5 episodes? Telltale games usually have 1-5

I mainly listen to metal music but check out Carach Angren which are Dutch symphonic black metal, check out End of You which are a more laid back melodic metal and finally Deathstars who focus more on industrial metal. Enjoy :sunglasses:

Half the bands? Like who? I'm always up for discovering new music.

I believe it's still US or North America only, but once Youtube Red becomes available in the UK, and included as part of Play music, that £9.99 will be a much better value.

My logic comes when Google Play Music doesn't seem to have half the bands I listen to whereas Spotify has never let me down so for £9.99, in my opinion Spotify blows Google Play Music out the water and into space. Also, I very rarely pay £9.99 a month for Spotify as there are regular deals on this site to get it heavily discounted for certain periods of time :sunglasses:

9.99 vs 9.99 per month. I see your logic.

Only contains level 1 - any additional levels are over £4 each.

Your kid must have quit after the intro then as my kids been playing for over 30mins and is still not done. She's not exactly taking her time either.

Impossible to finish this game in 10 minutes. The unskipable cutscenes alone take up 40 minutes of it

just sign up to google opinion rewards with the app on google play store. i earned more than enough to buy this app doing a survey which took less than 40 seconds.

Been on the fence about buying this on ps4. For 50p my kid can try the first episode which is great Imo.

Varies a lot but mainly Angry Birds (all versions), Cbeebies app, Racing car games, Candy Crush, Hay Day. Depends what they are in to.

Could a 6 year old play this? Thanks

Yes.. though there is some inappropriate language, hence the 12+ rating (PEGI).
I bought the XBox version for my 8 year old brother and he raised concerns

My 5 year old plays it, but I don't think he plays it as it is intended to be. But he still enjoys it.

just found this myself, came to tell everyone and you beat me to it. Nearly bought for £4.99 the other day for my lad. He loves MC, dont get it my self, but it keeps him quiet for an hour or so.

It doesn't make it entirely clear that you're only getting Episode 1, not the entire game.

If it's like other telltale titles it will eventually be free for episode 1. If you aren't desperate to play it, may be worth holding out... Although, it is only 50p...

50p bargain if you compare to some shops wanting £30+ for console versions.

If you are interested in buying episodes 2 to 5, I believe now is a good time to buy from google play; I have posted another deal here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/50-off-minecraft-story-mode-episodes-2-5-google-play-android-2427905
Hope it can be of use.
