Right this may go cold BUT I certainly hope it helps someone.
The Microsoft band 2 is again at Microsoft store for £149.99 and TopCashBack just emailed me with "super cash back offers" so having been tempted to buy a band 2 so many times I took a look. For the next 5 days they offer an additional £44.10 cashback on the MS Band 2 making it cheaper than ever before.
EDIT:- UPDATE TCB has tracked already, it is currently sitting at £6.56 hopefully it should move upwards as often happens.

TCB lists code GETFIT for 10% off Microsoft Band 2 + cashback
so this code at least shouldn't affect the cashback

TCB....couldn't get my activation email from them (despite being a member for over 6 years)....and when it finally worked they'd lost my account...and money owing...seems I'm not the only one either.

GETFIT didn't do anything for me, presumably because of the £50 discount

Great deal after cashback - beat me to the post. I have the fist band and like it and what it can do but am tempted by this version as it's so much slimmer and less of a black chunk.

That's exactly why I made the leap. I have the first band too, I love it:)

This is a super hot deal if the TCB tracks.
However.....
I had the band 2 for three months, loved the device, the data tracking is great, and comfy to wear, then one day i noticed a tear in the band, after Googling this issue i notice that i was not alone.
It seems its a design fault, and one they hopefully fix on the band 3, i ended up getting lucky as i bought mine from Argos and didn't have the receipt, but when i showed the staff this forum page........ http://forums.windowscentral.com/microsoft-band-2/407941-my-band-2-tearing.html
They agreed to swap it for a brand new one.
I then thought about it, it would DEF happen again just a matter of when, so i decided not to open it took it back and got the Fitbit Blaze, (great device), look each to their own, the band 2 is an excellent device, but be AWARE there is a tear issue!

Buyer beware, took 7 months to cashback from TCB for a Microsoft ARC mouse. and only after when disgruntled customers raised the issue on Facebook and Twitter.

I bought the first band with £20 cashback and eventually Topcashback said my cashback was not successful. I had the receipt with about 4 different unique tracking numbers (various elements of the band, for example battery - kinda random). I said on my ticket "i know its not your fault, but I have the reciept here. I definitely clicked through and onlt got it because i t was with cashback" (then I listen all the identifying numbers/codes on my reciept).
Within 24 hours my payment was payable! "we've found a payment that matches these details"
So far, several years, about 10 payments totalling about £300 tcb has worked. Just this declined netbet (scam) to sort out!

Well I ordered this yesterday 2 minutes before I posted the deal and it just been delivered by Mr UPS, I didn't pay for quick shipping either but for 3-5 day free shipping:) can't be bad eh
So now I wonder if I can have both bands on my account
Alot of stuff coming out after six months you know, if you always wait for new things that come in next six to nine months you'll never buy anything, good strategy if you want to save money.
Anyone can recommend size vs comfortable level?
pontprennau
29 Apr 16#24
I bought a large, it seems to be larger than my band 1 "large" it's also far less chunky and really quite comfortable in comparison. I have large wrists  small is very small in comparison as the wife wears small  never seen a medium one!
It is my first day wearing it so maybe others can have more relevant comments regarding longer term comfort.

Ive just sent my band2 in for repair for the same tearing issue. - as you say the forums are hot with tearing and non-charging issues.
In the states people have been getting them replaced from MS stores with no questions asked. but here in the UK it has to be sent off.
I really miss mine already!

It can take up to 6 months, we had to go to facebook to get it expedited
I think it usually tracks at a lower rate and gets validated closer to the payout per T&Cs on TCB site on Microsoft page Transactions may initially track lower, but will uplift at a later date.

Well, my cashback tracked initially at £6.62. I raised a claim, which was put on ice as they have a 45-day "validation period." The cashback went to payable without increasing. Finally the claim was submitted by Topcashback, which then said that it had been automatically rejected because the merchant has a 30-day limit on claims! So a limit on claims that is shorter than the validation period - not very impressed. I've replied to Topcashback pointing this out, so we'll see how they respond. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Yes I've had exactly the same response today. Far from impressed. Casts both Topcashback and Microsoft in a pretty poor light in my opinion. Am chasing.

Has anyone managed to get the correct cashback amount? Mine tracked at £6.62 for ages, I put in a claim which sat there for a few months. They then added a new transaction from Microsoft at £1.26 - both are showing as payable! The claim is sat there with their usual "we are waiting for the retailer/could take months/blah blah"
I've had enough with TCB these days, going back to Quidco and see how they compare.

I've had the same response. And to cap it off my band has torn. So I've got to send it back in the same week Microsoft announce they're pulling out of the wearable market. They won't give me a refund.

Thankfully my Band hasn't broken - that must be very annoying.
Any thoughts on how to persuade TCB to get this sorted?

I just had a message from TCB and they have now uplifted mine by a further £37.53 which is payable immediately making the total cashback received for the transaction £44.06
Sadly my band has in the last two days stopped accepting charge and is winging it's way back to germany for repair/replacement

Yeah mine got uplifted yesterday too. For some reason I have three Microsoft transactions on my account, totalling £43.67 - close enough for me!

Mine uplifted too - ended up with three separate transactions, coming in at £43.98 altogether. Band itself broke back in August - sent it to Microsoft and it was replaced and sent back in less than a week from posting. Second one seems to be doing OK so far...
