You are not alone, I also seen this in Pound land, you just can't Beat it. I was gonna post but didn't wanna be startin somethin that's already posted. I thought it was Bad my wife didn't believe I only paid a pound so I showed her the receipt in Black and White. Really good valve cos I Remember the time this was £9.99. Mind you I noticed the plastic case was sharp on the corner which could be quite Dangerous but the girl on the till said its fine as they are Unbreakable. Hot from me.

So if Gary Glitter's album was priced like this it would be a good deal? I don't understand how MJ and Mike Tyson get a free pass for the things they've done. Must be a celebrity thing.

Difference is glitter and Tyson were found guilty of their crimes. Jackson was cleared of the accusations against him. Shame sooner people don't know enough about the Jackson case to know the outcome was justified. Too blinded by one sided tabloid journalism.
For example, do you realise the mother of the kid had already contacted multiple layers about accusing Jackson BEFORE any of her family had even met him? And that she actively pestered Chris Tucker to introduce them until he finally gave in? Also she had a proven history if coaching her kids to lie in court? What about one of her kids even admitted to lying on the stand during the Jackson trial? Or that the mother did time for welfare and insurance fraud as a direct consequence of evidence uncovered during the Jackson trial?
Simple indicators not reported widely in the press. Just saying...

Remember that ITV documentary? Most people would see owning a theme park and having unrelated kids over as strange. Though I guess part of this is a big change in societal attitudes over the years. I guess men in particular have become increasingly concerned over how they should or shouldn't act around kids for fear of being branded a pedo. No doubt Michael had very much been shielded from learning such social norms having become a big star from a very young age and effectively excluded from "normal society". From that documentary I very much got the impression he was just swamped with "yes" people who would drop anything to give him what he wanted - no doubt this included the drugs that caused his death.
Though it's very easy to do 1 + 1 and get 896855. We can only deal with the facts we know of, some of which you've presented.
