1/6th of a cake is about 40g, meanwhile an individual sponge pudding (a desert for 1, to be served with added custard), is three times that.
I'm not sure I could even cut a slice the size these producers deem a serving size without it disintegrating into a pile of crumbs.
All so they can try to trick people into thinking this cake isn't quite so terrible for you. Bugs me almost as much as soft drink bottles which say "two servings", knowing that 95% of the time, they're going to be drunk at once.

The only time you will ever get 6 ( or probably more ) servings from this cake is when they take it into there cafe, and then charge you £2.25 a slice with a cup of tea and advertise it as a meal deal.
6 servings? I just sat and ate a whole one :smiley:

Cake maker needs to make 10% extra money year on year called business growth, so for a fixed number of eaters, after 30 years, you need to eat 6 servings to allow them to make 6X more money compared to 1980.
