Geesshhhh...what an awful website. I never go there usually but do need some shorts. What's the first thing you search for? Size. Not at M&S apparently. You have to search each item.
So you page through endless offerings and find the majority are out of stock. Even if you haven't selected the 'show out of stock items' box.
My recommendation....sell M&S shares.

Agree with many here, the M&S website is awful. Nine items in basket, only three were in stock at time of checkout; much time wasted. Discounted prices reflect M&S' true value in terms quality, but got sucked in anyway  Thanks for sharing.
Yep....designed by someone who couldn't give a **** about the customer. I don't buy much on ebay now as the proliferation of rubbish is too much of a risk.

Different to being instore. eBay have the same principle, it's not yours until you buy it so someone else has the option at the same time. Stops people dumping loads into their basket and hogging then deleting what they don't want, or leaving them in their basket and not completing the purchase.
An even worse website than I thought then! Imagine shopping in Tesco and someone keeps taking things out of your basket!!!
With Tesco direct they will take them off you once you have paid for them!
Had a right old mess with the printer inks with 200 cc points on them.Gave up in the end.

The site is sluggish and lots going OOS when you think you have them in the basket... some people have got some good deals thanks to op. but i didn't get any joy with this deal .shame

Frustrating. need to go into item to find real price then allows you all the way until delivery before stating OOS

Really irritating site. Allows you to add items and then shop around and at check out says its out of stock.
Meaning add something and buy it immediately to avoid disappointment

Just means someone else has bought them whilst you were browsing for more - happened to me the other day.
If it's truly OOS it won't let you add it to basket in the first place, but they don't hold the items for you whilst you browse, others on the site can still buy them.

So it took you 1 hour 25 mins to post that comment.
The website must be worse than I thought.
".I actually looked on their website about 15 mins after you posted this deal FYI.
Love how people take massive offence to people merely staring fact on here...!
It is irritating, especially when lots are looking at once.
However,I've found that once you manage to checkout, they do actually fufful the order, unlike Tesco direct and others.
Very fast delivery to store for pickup also.
Not all bad.

What is Real? How do you define real?
If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, the 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain - Morpheus
Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one - Einstein
So, what is reality? Is it an illusion? Is there a multiverse? Does reality exist in all states and not at all until it is measured?
Is our human brain perceiving just one possible interpretation of reality? Are there more dimensions of which we're not aware?
It's a fascinating field of research. The truth about reality is out there. and it is definitely much crazier than you can ever imagine.

There were plenty to be had when I posted, and probably quite a few more before anyone on here noticed.Nearly all were additions to the website since last night.
Maybe when we see a deal we should keep it quiet incase somebody comes along 3 hours later and gets frustated because there's nowt left.

if you use the desktop site then there is a "quick look" button on each item where you can quickly see the colours and sizes available but annoyingly this doesn't appear on the mobile site
