Just been into local M&S - probably national, why wouldn't it be?
Boxes of different variety M&S Biscuits ALL 6 quid.
Then spotted boxes of Belgian COOKIES down from 6 quid to just 60p box!
Got 3, were loads there although when coming out I saw a coupe with about 10 boxes, greedy ****!
Store specific deal due to the yellow sticker reduction.

Go to lidl and aldi and see if you can get Belgian cookies (half a kilo!) for 60p, let alone the Co-op!.
I KNOW M&S stuff is overpriced, I shop there. I also shop in the Co-op, I also shop in Morri's, I alo shop in Asda, I also shop in Sainsburys, I also shop in Waitrose (got their Dinner for Two today! good buy!!!), I also shop in both Aldi and Lidl. I rarely shop in Tesco, because we only have an Express, but as you see we have all the others. You save money, ONLY by shopping in all of them. Most shoppers can't, or won't hence they get robbed.
So, while the Co-op couldn't and wouldn't sell these at 6 quid, they do sell their own box ones at £3.99 so, your point is?
THESE ARE CHEAP! No?
No pleasing some shoppers.:stuck_out_tongue:

Yellow sticker at M&S is store specific. Like bread when it's reduced due to short date.

So down to about what they're worth then... Can you imagine Co op trying to sell own brand cookies for £6 just because they're put in a poncy box

This IS store specific if it has a yellow reduced label. If it was national then the price would be changed and there would be no need for a yellow reduction label.

Jnigel you need to chill out mate with the defensive responses. This is a store-specific local yellow sticker reduction, which is great for you..but no one else will get the same bargain.

Calm down ... none in Kingston but they did have mulled punch RTC from £2 to 25p, but might be store specific as RTC - about 8 bottles left on shelf if anyone is local to Kingston, Surrey

"probably national, why wouldn't it be?"
Er - Because it has a yellow reduced sticker on it.
Well done for finding and I hope you enjoy but it isn't a deal anyone else is likely to find. Why on earth this is so hot I don't know.

Oh, don't they use yellow reduced stickers in other M&S Food Halls?
In fact, I just bought some jeans in-store with a yellow reduction sticker. Looked online and they are on there too. So the answer is, don't know if nationwide, but it could be. Couldn't it? People will find out I'm sure. At least they'll be looking. I've been back in - all gone. I asked if they other varieties might be reduced and interestingly MoS said they may be repackaging them. So keep eyes peeled.
er, and it's Hot probably because a 90 per cent reduction is seen as not bad. Not bad at all?

Where did I say they were at their Use By Date?
Where did I say they were at their Sell By Date?
Where did I say they were at their Best Before Date?
All this crap is there to make sure you are frightened to eat it, and bin it. So you BUY MORE! Simples.
Anyway, on the box it states a Best Before Date of ....JUNE!!!
Leave the Cookies sealed or if opened put in a sealed container and they will last longer.
But they won't ...they are really delicious, as they are real BUTTER ones.
Butter?
That should scare the **** out of some of the health fanatics. Eat some butter, much better for you than spread F* o*a crap.

I'm fairly certain Aldi's alternative is £2.99 around Xmas so these aren't that ridiculously priced! Plus normally it's 2 for 1, or half price anyway... You rarely pay the ticket price! Unless you're dense...

To be fair, M&S also sell them 2 for £7 at Christmas, so £6 a box is OTT.
