I am a Brit living in Auckland .. We scour the net for good prices as fares are very expensive. But ... 1. When something seems too good to be true .. It usually is!
2. When "amazing" fares are offered , take the time to review the airline. Beleive me, when you have a 30 + hour journey ahead of you it matters greatly what the service is like on the flight . So dont overpay as there will be some good fare prices out there.
Having sid all that, if you have no choice then take a good book and comfy pillow!

The price is hot indeed but sadly the airline is too bad with appalling low levels of service quality. Avoid this at all costs :smile:

If you don't mind the multiple stopovers and long journey time then it's a good saving.

Not worth it at all. 8hours layover bothway in Shanghai plus China eastern, no thanks.

Indeed. Poor reviews but still a great price. Depends whether spending a ton more is worthwhile.

It's a good price but a couple of things.

China Eastern - doubt the journey will be particularly entertaining - see reviews online

Prices likely to come down further with oil price rock bottom
