I don't have this TV but have an older LG with the same smart TV software and you can use plex via an app I think is called "media link"

In other words check if the business is legit and if they aren't don't buy from them regardless.

I bought this TV on monday and I love it
built in WiFi
3x HDMI ports
3x USB ports
USB media playback
USB RECORDING!!! (hence why I got it)
the screen is far superior than any other TV I've had, 1280x720 on this even looks better than full HD on my samsung!
Sound could be better though but honestly a fantastic tv for the price

LG Web OS 2.x is excellent, however this TV is using the old LG smart TV system which is not Web OS based.
