For me this shows as 'Sold by C-ALL-TRADE and Fulfilled by Amazon.' at this price where the company is shown as having an address in Hong Kong. I'd personally rather pay £10 extra to get it direct from Amazon and not a merchant fulfilled by Amazon but maybe that doesn't bother some people.

What's the battery like on these, I've heard it is poor?

Jesus this thread is an example of HUKD at it's worst. Finally a relevant question. The battery life is really tough to judge. Because the phone runs so well and is comfortable to use one handed I say I'm probably using it more. A heavy user like myself (waiting to start PhD in a week so not at work) will probably need to charge the phone twice a day vs once with my iPhone 6 and OnePlus 2. It has quick charge though. Most normal users will be fine for a full day. When android N is released (not beta) this will get much better as Doze will work all time when not in use vs being still and flat on table. Power user I'd say 7am to 4pm then charge. Most people will be full day easy.
Thanks for the post above. Is the performance of this device still poor?

Thanks for the sensible response! I currently have a Nexus 6P, which I regret as its just too big. And I'm also getting frustrated at having to charge the battery before bed time everyday. Which on a new premium device isn't really good enough IMO.
I had a 5S previously and I'd say the battery life was very similar to what I have now.
If it was a £280 device I could forgive it needing a top up each night.
Thanks for the N tip, that could make a big difference to me.

I believe that the latest update has transformed the phone and it now runs pretty much great, at least that's what Android Central was saying if memory serves me right.

I'd probably say best option for you is a S7 edge after selling 6P. Touchwiz has got better but I'm still a stock man. Hopefully as Samsung has sold so many they might update it for more then their next flagship release. Thing is if use 6P for media you'll miss the stereo speakers.

I had one before but never had lag. Sold it as wanted 64GB for music. Bought again as like android more and the camera is great. I never had issues before or now. Now I carry Nexus 5X and iPod 6 64GB. Perfect combination!

Great phone imo at a great price. Find it stupid people will spend £600+ on a mobile that does ever so slightly more, when this does everything and more than you need.

Got the 16gb from here for 185 a couple of weeks ago. Great phone, charge it once a day, as i did my old iphone.
Storage not really an issue as my music was always on google play.

Half the thread is people arguing about words, pathetic, no wonder this site is starting to receive a bad reputation on other forums about the quality of it's members. Shame.

The use of ain’t was widespread in the 18th century, typically as a contraction for am not. It is still perfectly normal in many dialects and informal speech in both Britain and North America. Today, however, it does not form part of standard English and should never be used in formal or written contexts. See also are n’t (usage).

Got this a couple of weeks ago with the Argos deal on here with 10% cashback. Nice little phone. Camera is superb. Battery life is hit and miss. Can get close to two days out of it sometimes, but start playing any games or streaming anything and doesn't get much past 12 hours. Still a cracking phone and with the speedy charging the battery life isn't too much of an issue. Will see if there are any improvements with Android N.

What other forums? I agree its ridiculous. Want to learn about a phone and you just get an argument over words.

This is a very informal environment, I'd have thought?
So if someone wants to use slang expressions, then there is no reason why they shouldn't.
But the issue with the above post is that they made a big deal out of correcting a minor and obvious typo "then/than", and then used "aint". If you are going to be an uptight holier than though pedant, then your usage of English needs to be 100% perfect - otherwise, you'll look a prize chump.
This is NOT the UK version and so does not support certain 4G bands

First thing was the price - seemed cheap. Secondly buying from Ebay/Online, I would check the version before buying. Thirdly it says the bands on the spec - there is no 800mhz band. This is an important band for rural areas and indoor signal, penetrating through walls. All the main networks have some 800mhz.
I wouldn't touch an overseas phone myself. Rather pay a bit more for the coverage, warranty etc

Got the international version off eglobal central. £185 arrived in 8 days. Pleased with it. Heavy use leads to needing to charge before bed but ten mins rapid charge leads to couple hours use. Running Android N and had no probs yet. Feels stable enough for daily use.
