great phone in loads of ways apart from battery. I've gone back to using my OnePlus 2 despite the camera etc on 5x as for sick of charging 2-3 times a day as a high user!

Not sure how you being high would drain the battery?

Power a vaporiser from the USB port and use some herbal stuff on it.

Very good phone. I bought it for my 12 year old sister in law. I was extremely impressed with it and I'm an iPhone 6 user.

I've just returned mine bad unit or ? Phone was slow my moto g3 was much more faster, lagging, freezing, horrible yellow tint across all screen, backlight leak at the very top. Feel very cheap when plugging/unplugging the usb c connector compared to iphone connector.
Something positive though: good fingerprint sensor, phone is comfortable to hold not heavy/bulky
But I would seriously not recommend this phone to a friend.

Bought one other day as my smart ultra 6 off for repair.
The camera is better on the 5x although it won't macro focus as well as the su6, and finger print unlock is useful, and like the gyroscope (the only feature I wish the su6 had) but performance wise I can't see any difference, the battery life isn't quite as good and doesn't charge up massively quicker than the SU6. Screen is at least as good on the SU6, bit much difference in size or weight, and I like the capacitive buttons better.
All this phone shows is just how good the £100 smart ultra 6 is, the 5x is lovely but no way is it worth twice the price of the SU6.

The battery is awful on mine. I never make it through a day. I get about 2 hours screen time. Still inside the 14 days so might send it back.

Sorry if this is off topic but I used to be able to get 1p pay as you go sim cards from amazon including delivery. I have just checked now and all sim cards now have a £4.99 delivery charge. That is a 50000% increase. Does anyone know why this has happened? I need an orange sim and I don't see why I should have to pay more than 1p for it.
i spend a lot of time on 4g watching videos and checking social media, replying to emails etc

I have tried that but when I click free sim it takes me to the EE website for an EE sim. That won't work because the phone is locked to Orange unfortunately.

I have tried it. An EE sim wont work in a phone locked to Orange. Not my phone anyway. It asks for a network unlock code.
From Google
Generally T-Mobile and EE phone locks are the same. So an EE SIM should work in a T-Mobile locked phone and vice versa. Orange phone locks were not the same as T-Mobile / EE so an Orange SIM would not work in a T-Mobile / EE phone and vice versa. So the best answer you are going to get is IT MAY work.

Hiya ,whats the battery like on you oneplus2 please?
I was saying I was impressed even given I'm not used to android and the phone is half the price. It's not irrelevant if you're an iPhone user wondering if it's worth a shot. Being impressed by it coming from an Nokia 3310 isn't quite the same.

If an EE sim doesn't work in your Orange phone then they will unlock it for free.

I actually have a OP2 since October last year and now it has started lagging while switching apps. I was actually thinking of going for 5x because of the lag. Do you not recommend 5x then? What is the difference in battery life, so I get an idea.

Surprised on why Nexus went with hexacore CPU rather than the Octacore. So during low performance usage, Children aged five to 10 can travel free at any time by Tube, DLR, London Overground and most National Rail services in London (where pay as you go is accepted), as long as they travel with an adult who has a valid ticket (up to four children can travel free with one adult) it does unnecessarily lag

Really good. Especially under Marshmallow beta. I think the 3300 mah battery and 1080p screen help. I have the brightness set down low too and very rarely have to turn it up apart from in direct sunlight. It lasts me from about 6:30am to 11:30pm vs 6:30am until about 6pm at most on my 5X which is 2700 mah. If you do go with OnePlus make sure to take off the stupid screen protector they install by default. It is gorilla glass 4 anyway and this screen protector makes the colours look so washed out!

Have you upgraded to Marshmellow beta and done a reset? I really recommend the 5X apart from the battery life. I think bar the S7 edge I would have same problem moving to anything sub 3300 mah now tbf. If you aren't a heavy user and can live with less storage I'd say go for it. I've got the 32GB model and think I couldn't live with less. The camera in low light is an absolute beast too! See above quote regarding battery life.

It's a decent enough phone, and for sub £200 it would definitely be worth it although 16GB isn't enough, even though I stream my music and keep photos in the cloud, my phone is always about 90% capacity! There are some things that really bug me about this phone, such as the screen not always turning off when I'm in a call, and I end up either muting them or hanging up on them with my ear!! However, the camera and fingerprint scanner are superb, but in hindsight, I would have probably gone for the 6P.
