Wait another 6 months and price will drop to £300, LG phones are really good but unfortunately don't hold their value

Appreciate your effort posting, but surely the deal here is the discount code?

True, but I guess highlighting a new popular model phone with a big discount, is more interesting than just saying they're offering 20% off for new customers across the site.

I have one of these on contract and it's a great phone. Reviews have been mixed as people are a bit confused by the modular design. I have mine in a case, so don't find the aesthetics of the modular design to be an issue. Performance is top notch, cameras are great, and I find the battery life OK, with added security that I can replace the battery in 12-24mnths time if it's not holding its charge as well. It also charges really fast. Running Nova launcher on mine which returns the app drawer. iFixit gave the phone 8/10 for repairability, so I feel confident that this will be a very useful device beyond the end of my contract.

Every review I have seen slates the modular design of this device, because it is modular it has a poor fit, the screen has bad light bleed, battery capacity is down etc. etc. Voting Cold.

I agree, it looks great and should be around £460 with the promo code (same as the S7).

G5 review by my main man Flossy Carter........tells it like it is.

+1 on his reviews & the fact he is not stuck on just reviewing top of the line hardware

HEAT on the deal/price, but also think LG 5 being a bit boring and the build quality issues on this release, do not
really justify not buying the SGE7 or the HTC10..

Vodafone already sell these for £410 (including a top up). Cold.

Like others I love my G4 too much to change just yet, but if you're looking for a new android phone then this is about as good as it gets.
Great price too! Heat added.

Although im looking for a good deal on the G5, this deal gets a cold from me im afraid.
Delivery not until 03/05/2016 and no free camera. Only plus this has over the refresh deal is that its the international rom.

Don't be put off by the delivery date, most orders are delivered well before the date shown, as was the case with the S7 deals I posted previously. Check the posts and you'll see for yourself.
This post also offers interest free credit for those who would be unable to pay off the full amount with the refresh deal.

It's super easy to flash an unbranded ROM - I've done this multiple times with phones when selling them.

Whatever you do if you have a fault avoid LG for support and go to your retailer. My G3 went back and forward to LG with a fualty motherboard and case. I was without a phone for 4 months! Pathetic.

But this is to pre-order, thus the delivery date.

I do that already, rocking CM13 on my LGG2. However with my next device I want to make use of Google Pay, so wont be able to flash.

You should be able to flash a standard ROM with no modifications just fine (an unbranded stock one). Shouldn't affect Google Pay at all unless it's carrier specific or something?

Discount code didn't work for me - I think the O2 offer is a better bet....

Just signed up to say thanks to the OP for posting this.
The old G2 was running a little slow so time for an upgrade. Did have a look at the S7E but although it looks great, it's a bit on the long side.
I know the O2 deal was slightly cheaper but no 12 months BNPL and don't you have to get it unlocked also?
