Thank you for taking time out to share that, I find file transfer on any apple product a real pain unless you run the transfer via apple software, as where android plug and play in any computer for movie or mp3 and much more, no need for adational software. Win win for me.

Nice Spot, they are very new to Amazon and have no feedback as yet, might put some off.
iPhone is much better spec and functionality. Sorry.

i understand the one + one updates are a little slow, I've had my nexus 4 since release date in 2012 and it's only just stopped receiving updates.

"Best Price Ive seen, most on HUKD are £265 or more"
You must've missed the Argos deal last week @ £249 then. I used a £10 voucher and, if Quidco pays out, total of £215
WaxedPerfection to deanoh11
3 Apr 16#12
I did, sadly I don't have a £10 voucher so it wouldn't help me get to the £215 you paid or quidco. :disappointed:

I bought the 5X from ebay on friday, it arrives tomorrow. £229.99, ebay item number 201547643008. I got it with the 20% off code that ran, which made it a no brainer. Still £30 cheaper than amazon and the seller has excellent feedback.

I'll bite the bullet if this ends up in a price war like the Moto G experienced. This phone has a good DAC (something people often overlook) so it should be pretty decent as an MP3 player.
Not much of an audiophile but I find the Moto G pretty much farts it's way through music if you push up the volume/bass on large headphones.
the lack of 64gb option on the 5X is likely to be the deciding factor. with the HD camera the 32gb will soon fill up and I also have a lot of music on phone.

The Nexus 5x from eBay link has a different model number which seems to be missing some LTE bands e.g 800mhz

The moto x style is another option.

Sure there's many options ,but most people buy Nexus because of INSTANT updates , also the camera on this is way better than style one.
According to what I've read the camera is only better in certain conditions than the style so nowhere near way better atall. Trying to decide between the lot. And after the blurb I've read the style comes out on top. Can you point me to where it states the camera being way better. Just that I've not read that yet.
Also just to add i was only offering a alternative as I'm in the market for a new phone. So no need to be all defensive. Plus please also tell me the many options in competition to this phone in its price range.
Got it on the eBay 20% foniacs. Should receive tomorrow. So obviously not opened and was still debating between a few, including the nexus but i think I'm content I've made the right decision. He says...

You're ridiculous, you just send links to some websites that haven't actually tested the phones. Both of them are good ,but what attracts people to get Nexus is the instant updates. Also the camera when I said 'is way better' I was referring to low light shots which is what extremely important to a lot of people. Don't know if u go out sometimes ,but if you tried to take a picture in low light conditions with both there would be insane difference.
Also the screen size is a lot different so it also comes down to what the person prefers the 5.2inch on 5X or 5.7inch on style, and I don't see the style having 1440p display being an advantage since it will result in more battery drain plus because of size difference their PPI is very close.
I ordered the 16GB from the same seller on thursday and it came saturday morning. Boxed and sealed. It's the HK version but has a UK charger and works perfectly with all networks.

4 Apr 16#33
Well really it's a HK charger and they happen to use UK-style plugs there, but yeah I know what you mean.

I typed in to my browser moto x style vs nexus 5x and the first page were these links. Don't blame me for what results Google spits out. Get a grip.
Not as ridiculous as the statement " the camera is way better" or just calling someone ridiculous. Sry for the short reply I'm out at the moment
Also you might want to have a look at some of the style deals posted. And you will be in the minority.

HK (H798) Variant has no 800Mhz (B20) LTE so no 4G on O2, Giffgaff. Should work on 3, Voda and EE but these also use B20 in addition to all their other bands so make sure you factor this is in.
For those that care. Got my style and it's big but manageable. Feels and looks like a premium phone. Screen is really nice. And camera more than adequate

I don't actually understand this, yes 32GB will fill up if you don't copy stuff from phone to a PC periodically. So this would only be an issue if you never move stuff off your phone (which is a huge risk if your phone dies, gets lost or stolen). Personally, I have dropbox that will auto upload stuff as soon as I'm on wifi so I will often just clear old stuff knowing it is all sync'd. Each to their own I guess.
