Though it's £130 cheaper still. However I think they should honor same warranty as it's Brand New and same Model as on Currys / PCWorld website.

May be it's worth checking how much they'd charge for 5 years. Going by their Ad, if it's £749 in-store with 1 year warranty and £799 on their site with 5 years. If they charge £50 extra it's still a bargain. Otherwise they should not advertise it as "Same Offer but Cheaper in Ebay"

So why are people rating this tv lower than the uf770v which is a lower spec model and cheaper ?
Surely the uf850v is the same picture and better tv as its a higher model number ?
I also want 3D which the uf770v doesn't have?
I can get the uf850v for £630 with codes, is it worth the punt ?

This should be better than UF770v, and the inclusion of Passive 3D is a huge advantage to not only 770v, but practically every single 3D TV out there since with this TV, you can easily have Full HD 3D, cheaply priced and comfortable 3D glasses, plus the ability to play at full HD resolution with nVidia 3D Vision on a PC (not possible to go beyond 720p with active 3D).
I don't have this TV myself, but from everything I have read and for 630, I doubt you'll get a better deal right now on a TV if you care about 3D. By the way, may I ask where did you find this TV at that price?
Anyway, this deal should now be updated (expired) as the price is back to 800 pounds... I am just surprised this never reached at least 100 degrees; it probably shows that most people here who vote are clueless.

Absolutely... it was a stunning deal as for a TV of that specs for the price .... I could only find A-Grades or Manufacturer Refurbished.
