Pretty good for a Full HD 3D model "Limited quantity available"
It already shows as £314.99, although it does say
"SAVE £20 WHEN YOU SPEND £300 OR MORE"
Add to your basket and POW, further discount :)
The 3D is Passive, so you can use the much cheaper 3D glasses (same as the one's at the cinema) It does come with 2 pairs out of the box.
Model: LG 42LF652V
3x HDMI
Colour: Carbon Titan
Screen Size (inches): 42 "
TV Screen Type: LED
HD Ready: HD Ready 1080p (1920x1080)
Digital Freeview: Integrated Freeview HD
Full set of specs in the link, as per :)
Freesat HD and USB recording.

It is not Freesat, it has a Free-To-Air tuner for recieving satellite signals but they will not include the Freesat/Freeview programme guide for the British tv channels

It IS Freesat. You probably got an EU model or haven't updated your set.

Taken the plunge on this. Looks a great deal and the Freesat is a bonus.

Would be difficult to find a Sony Bravia of the LG's spec at this price point. With a few changes in input lag for this TV can be below 30msec which is fine for the average gamer. LG TV calibration
Plus the dual play on the LG might be fun for certain games.

I submitted a comment which is going through moderation - which asked what the difference was for another 42" Lg elsewhere for less was - & it's 3D! The cheaper set is not 3D - my bad!

Any significant difference between that 42" Smart 1080p LG & this one for £288 - £20 = £268 (for signing up to "Which?" which can be immediately cancelled) please?
It's definitely there and is a great bonus. Bought mine from John Lewis because as new little used 30 month old smart 42" Panasonic failed and seller and manufacturer didn't want to know. No pic but sound and everything else ok. Decided £379 from John Lewis with 5yr warranty was for me. Cannot recommend the TV enough. No light leakage, dse or banding at all.

Can you suggest some makes and models? I'm after a 1080p set with Freeview HD, 48" or more with PC connectivity (VGA D-Sub).
Thanks,

Paid around £80 more for this when it was on offer at John Lewis. Great TV and this is a cracking price if you are not concerned about 5 year warranty.

I have heard passive 3D is not great at 1080p. Something to do with alternative vertical polarization... Although great price, heated.

I bought this one for youngest son and picture quality and build is excellent. There is absolutely no banding or dse (dirty screen effect) on image. The 3D is great (passive) with 2 x glasses provided and there is also Freesat HD tuner along with the Freeview HD tuner which is not mentioned on the advertising.
mmmmm co op currently waiting for them to sort my broken lg, rubbish service and they have said I need to deal direct with lg!!!!

I have the LG 49" smart tv, it's not 3D but can't fault the tv at all & its £399 in Argos. Thinking of buying another for my room. Check the stats on the Argos website

Note. Picture in link and on website not of the LG 42LF652V which has the more usual squarish base and not thin support at either end. If you want with 5yr warranty, John Lewis £379 delivered. http://www.johnlewis.com/lg-42lf652v-led-hd-1080p-3d-smart-tv-42-with-freeview-hd-built-in-wi-fi-2x-3d-glasses/p1973262
