You are talking of the days when the Abacus was the height of technology and there was nothing to beat it so if you owned one you had the fastest "calculator" in the land, in this century where manufacturers are still producing USB 2 memory sticks when in reality we are now making memory sticks 20 times the speed of USB 2 then maybe you would be happy with 2 piles of pebbles to do your maths!

if they're not that big she must have a hell of a lot of files to fill 64gb
Seriously anything over 2-4gb files then USB 3.0 is a must, and they're not exactly gonna break the bank.

Brian if you are not happy and this is what i am sensing you can always go back to biblical times when the bead counter(abacus ) was the height of technology, at that time so if your parents so if your parents thort you was clever they bought you one of these bead counters you could be sure you was the envy of your friends. Moving forward a few hundred years to the twentieth century and some of us older ones will remember the log book and the slide rule which was used to solve maths problems as well as wacking us lads on the backside. Some of my friends still use it as they believe it cant be hacked and stubbornly like old goats still use it to solve maths problems.

64GB for under a tenner is a great deal, can't deny that. I have both USB 2.0 and 3.0 sticks and I must admit using my SanDisk 64GB which is USB 2.0 drives me insane but it's the largest stick I have so it leaves me no choice.

I highly recommend spending extra few pounds and get the USB 3.0

Well i bought one as i think 64gb is cheap for under a tenner. I wont be sitting and watching my files been transferred so its not really a big deal to me. I have USB3 slots as do most people but i would rather save the money.
