Fortunately, there is a way to tell when the set was produced. If you take a closer look at a box, you will see a 4-digit code printed in black on the clear tape that holds the box closed. This is the manufacturing code. If the code is 47S5 that means this box was put together in week 47 of 2015. Any code of that number or higher (i.e. 49S5, or 52S5) is good, because those are the updated Wall-Es.

Tried a demand on Flubit when showing OOS at ASDA, got offered £58.84 for 2 with free post (I didn't know Flubit work with ASDA George!).
Anyway ordered and confirmation shows they will be delivered from Jadlam Racing Models.
