I always did have issues with Spider-Man figures having cars, motorbikes, quad bikes, helicopters at his disposal...or say Flash needing a car. C'mon, some things need to remain realistic ;o)
On a 'serious' note, does anyone own these sets? Are the only difference in the mini figures their micro legs. Planning on getting the Robin/Bane set and replacing Bane's legs with adult size legs.

The faces are a bit more 'cartoony' than the regular figures.

I have the Batman/Catwoman set (courtesy of a coworker, <3) and can confirm that the figures have the short "micro" legs but can easily be replaced with standard legs. Personally, I think that most of the faces have a nice bit of character.
The cars themselves are quite cute, although Batman's car is a far cry from the Batmobile :P I'd be tempted to buy a few more sets at <£5.

He's prone to hamstring injuries. Dodgy hamstrings are the equivalent of kryptonite to him.

The flash... needing a car. Makes total sense.

And I suppose being able to run so fast you can travel through time is sensible.
