Laphroaig quarter cask 70cl single malt Islay scoth whisky £20 only. Plenty of stock at Hulme Manchester
Asda is streamling their inventory across products. Lots of products are reduced to clear
Laphroaig quarter cask is matured in quarter casks result ing in a peatier product and better than their regular 10 year old.

Yeah i seen the ardmore @ 20 as well, but when i picked it up another shopper advised me against it stating they tried it and found it 'harsh' and 'chemically' tasting, i understand its all subjective to what you like and would appreciate your thoughts on how you find it, as i haven't personally tried it. In the end i just stuck with the quarter cask @ 25 as that is what i went for in the first place.

Had a quick look in Asda Trafford & the Laphroaig Quarter is £25 there - so it's store specific which is a shame. However picked up The Ardmore for £20 @ Asda and a Laphroaig 10 yr for £21.58 @ costco (my whisky stocks were dwindling) so still happy :man:

I visited many asda stores around Manchester and this deal has been received well. All the stores are now empty including some which had this drink at £25. Initially cold voters tried to subdue this deal and hide this fantastic offer. I am grateful all who voted for this deal. Thanks.
Asda is radically reorganising it's various products and there fore you will find some fantastic deals.

Thanks for the update - I was going to drop in to the Trafford asda today for a bottle, but it sounds like I've missed the boat :disappointed:

Just been into The Whisky Shop beside Lincoln cathedral for a dram.
Quarter Cask is £55 a bottle in there.
Told him it's £20 in some Asdas.
Not mention his reply!

Hot if you can find any, you should change title to 'Scotch' as it wouldn't appear in a search as 'scoth'

Hot if available but likely to be store specific so I didn't vote. Available in Stevenage at £25 which is the normal offer.

Why is this quarter cask so cheap all of a sudden. I bought 5 amazon for £25 thinking they'd run out...now its even cheaper. Oh well better get another few.

OK, thanks, I like Ardbeg and Lagavulin but I prefer Laphroaig to both which is handy as it's generally the cheapest of the 3

Yep, never seen quarter cask for this price. Laphroaig is one of my favorite tipples but never had quarter cask, is there much difference in taste from the standard 10 year old?
NorthWest to mozbud

Yes. It's ideed more intense as these matured in quarter casks which due to higher surface area to volume, impart stronger smoky on palate. Best. Very close to ardbeg and lagavulin.
