sorry but I wouldn't recommend you this shop
1) online orders can't be returned in store
2) the coats which said it's a winter coat came out so thin as a summer coat
3) the coat has only lasted 6 months , has a rip under one of them and the other has a unusual tear from God knows where!
4) while Sewing the coat from under the arm all the internal lining was in pieces and bits.
5)they always try to sell you the waterproof wash! 1 wash is £1 which I bought.

It says nowhere that it is a winter coat!
As for selling you the waterproof wash........ how did they make you buy it?

Keli - these are thicker than a pac a mac type jacket but not anywhere thick like winter coats. At this time of year my children wear these over a zippy top or fleece and it just gives them extra protection from the wind/rain. Definitely not for winter but great for Spring/summer/ autumn.
We have been impressed by the quality and they look really good on.

my daughter has had one of these for ages, granted she doesn't wear it all the time (as it is just a waterproof, not a winter coat!) it has lasted really well

To be honest I did feel a bit iffy about putting boy and girl.
The purple one was listed as 'girls' and I think I put boys against the other, after consideration to make the listing clearer (as it was being sold in the boys section).
Sites like this make us a bit more savvy when shopping, and I think most of us wouldn't be swayed particulary by a 'gender' labelling system...... if boys want to wear purple... let them..... if girls want to wear blue ... so be it :smiley:

Bought x2 today 7-8 in both girls & boys anyone find the arms ridiculously long? I'm taking one back & going to go up a size I didn't think the length very long, so god knows how long the arms will be on the 9-10 years
