Make sure you register warranty / keep receipt. Great when they work but have had 2 where they suddenly just stop charging. Karcher have replaced both so good CS, but make sure you register!!

I bought one from Argos last week for £35. I will buy one more and give one back with the £35 receipt. Thanks for posting it!
This is an old model though. Open the link below and scroll down to see the full comparison between models, WV50, WV2, WV2 Premium, WV5 Premium.
Why are these so good? Looks like they just vacuum up liquid residue, and the cleaning still needs to be done beforehand?

Beats me, I got one for £9 from Tesco years ago as a clearance but they seem to have got more popular over time.
Bought some 3M window cleaning foam in a can and that's far better and less mess than faffing on with this.

You clean the window then vacuum the water up. It makes it easier to have streak free windows. Bit of a gimmick, but it really does work. Also useful for doing the outside of upstairs windows by reaching out with it, as it gives you a longer reach.

in winter if your windows mist up anything like ours (yes i know its not a long term solution to the problem) then these are a god send... quite literally. i would use it for cleaning too. they do a great job of 'smear free' with normal use i would say. thumbs up. i also bought the £34.99 one from argos literally a week ago.. how rude!!!

If condensation is inbetween glasses (Old double glazed window) will this work still , removing water ?
bluepete1976 to FTOdude170
8 Apr 16#33
Misting is caused by water vapour inside your house, eg wet washing or simply from cooking etc it hits the cold surface of the Windows and turns back to water.

And why have i wanted to buy one for so long???

BECAUSE ... it makes window cleaning slightly more fun, & quicker too, great for condensation on windows and steamed up bathroom mirrors and shower screens too ... that's why!

Have both models, only real advantage of the newer model is it runs longer between charges and has a smaller head for smaller windows and the newer one comes with a squeegee type mop thing and some window cleaning gunk.

I have one of these, it's not always perfect especially at edges, however it makes cleaning windows a breeze. Just sponge clean the window, two slides down ( depending on the width ) with the vacuum and done.

Well it obviously can't suck up the water in-between your double-glazing units - your units have blown and the only option is to replace the glass. I've got the same problem on a couple of windows, but I'm waiting for a few more to blow, as it's not very cost-effective to just get one or two panes replaced.

8 Apr 16#31
I can see why the new model is better & preferable. Having this model, it's extra size (length) can be a bit of a nuisance when you are cleaning windows with a ledge (shelf) below. The WV50 cannot be swiped down the whole window at the correct angle as the shelf is an obstruction.

i really want one of these but can't justify it, although I'm thinking from all the hysteria on here every time they go on a deal that maybe I don't wash my windows enough? Outside windows are too high so have to pay window cleaner, which only leaves inside. Don't think I can justify the spend for my 3 washes a year

For those who mentioned that they have condensation in between the double glazing there is a remedy. Use a hair drier on low heat setting and gradually work your way round the window edges. When you come to the part where the seal has broken you will know because the mist will begin to disappear. Keep the hot air on until the misting has gone and then use something to fill the gap in the seal.

the seal in double glazing is because its a vacuum, gotta replace the unit ?
