Saw this at PC world today, going to collect my steering wheel from the super hot deal posted a few days back. Thought it was a decent price for a decent brand/quality build board. Guy at desk said national as they're clearing stock.
I already own a mechanical keyboard and I'd never go back to one that isn't.
Hope this is of help to someone.

what's the weight like on this?
I ask because if I buy another keyboard, my partner will try to beat me to death with it.... and I don't want to make it easy for her!

Is this the RGB version or the non RGB version? Thanks

The RGB is the newer version which costs £140, this is the previous model which by all accounts is exactly the same but has red back-lighting instead.

Quite heavy so if she does manage to lift it, thats a lot of momentum coming your way :P I have the non-RGB, red-switch K70 and its 1.2KG including the cable. (Measured on a kitchen scale)

Have the k70 with brown switches (albeit rgb, although ironically I just use red backlight so is the same as this) and it's the best keyboard I've ever owned. Absolute bargain if you can get it for this price, i paid £110 for mine and would pay that again in a heartbeat if I was in the market.

My local one had 3 so caved in and bought it even though I bought the Mad Catz STRIKE TE one a couple of weeks ago for the same price. This used Reds where the STRIKE used browns, this feels way better.

Why the need to spend so much on a keyboard?

Some people spend up to 120 so this isn't the most expensive. But you have to ask yourself about value... why would anyone spend 40 quid on jeans when you can get some for 12 quid at your local primark. People spend money on things they believe it is worth. I for one bought my keyboard due to quick responsive times of the keys (mechanical) and I game a lot. So for me, the value was worth it.

Crystal Peaks store had one earlier but at 79.99 and since I only need a spare I didn't get one :disappointed:

Checked on my system in store today in the north west only southport and rochdale has this keyboard at £79.99. I can only check northwest on in store computer. I have already bought one myself at £79.99 with my staff discount . One in southport is down as non pristine meaning its probably an ex display model or been returned.
