Website working fine today. Is this legit though? I can't get over how much of a deal this is... considering how much I paid for Glasto!

Does it include the ferry? If not I would suggest booking your ferry tickets soon. Cheapest way to get across from Southampton is a pair on a super off peak return, 10 quid each return that way although day returns aren't much use to people in this situation, it may actually be cheaper getting that twice than getting an open return.
And ye sadly the bus services on the Isle aren't exactly cheap so that adds to the cost somewhat but maybe just another tenner overall.

Last year we left the car in a car park in Southampton, think it cost about £35 and then the ferry costs £10 return I think? The shuttle bus there and back was £6 return on the island.

I saw the guy from Keane fronting them on some princes trust concert years ago...he was brilliant

What's the cost of taking a car over on the ferry?

I live 5 minutes away from the festival site and work even closer - I would go regardless of the acts as it's a decent atmosphere and it's on my doorstep, of course Queen would be better with Freddie Mercury but that isn't going to happen any time soon. The deal is a good one if you are interested in the event as it's nearly halt the rrp- whether that is too much initially is a different debate

It was Lambert.
Each to their own of course, but definitely not my cup of tea.
Was like watching an X Factor version of Freddie.
Technically very good mind.

Who was fronting them then? Was it Adam Lambert or Paul Rodgers?
Paul, while great with Free, just didn't work well with Queen IMHO.
I'm a die-hard Queen fan and no one can replace Freddie of course, but Adam Lambert fits in really well and does a terrific job.

Saw them with Freddie twice.
Seen them once without.
Personally found the bloke fronting them now weak and embarrassing.
To be fair to him, I guess it's not easy stepping into a legend's shoes.

Pretty poor line up for Young people, most Queen and The Who fans are OAPs
There's a reason that these old bands are headlining. Because all the new younger bands are so bad.

That's what I thought, but I saw them at the O2 last year and they were ***** fantastic.
One of the best live performances I've ever seen and I can't wait to see them again.

Can't see how this isn't a great deal. Are the discounted often? If I didn't already have two festival booked I'd of been tempted myself!

I have a pretty eclectic taste in music and love going to festivals, but this line up is pretty dire. Also being very very South England and via ferry will put a fair few people off.

Great price - no idea why it's been voted cold (Although in fairness the initial price was pretty steep) BUT a saving of £90 is not to be sniffed at

I think all festivals are struggling to shift tickets, there seems to be a lot more tickets on sale than there are people willing to buy them this year. Expect a lot of reductions and people kicking off that they've paid full price..

And there is zero chance of getting them cheaper anywhere else - even off a tout outside the gates (not that I advocate that sort of thing)
