Seems like a good price with 6 month warranty from Argos (and if the device hasn't previously been registered you might get a full year from Apple).

there is no way these will have any warranty on them, they would need to be less than a year old to have one and even their "as new" models which really were c grade or lower didn't have them so any chance of a B grade one having anything left is....
someone above added the link you need but you will need to get the ipad to check.
You won't be able to pre-check with Argos without actually having the unit in your hands.

Brilliant iPad, the mini 2 is decently fast but just avoid iOS 9. Mine was happily running on 7.1.1 until curiosity got the better of me and now it's horrendously slow - but, of course, I can't downgrade back to 7 or 8 as Apple knows best.

Is there a way to check how long of a warranty an item has online?

Not true !!. Just bought a brand new factory sealed ipad air on ebay. Checked with local Apple store BEFORE we opened it. They checked the serial number and confirmed that the 12 month warranty started from the point of original purchase. our new Ipad was already out of warranty without ever being opened or registered (but we had a fair deal).

I got exactly the same in the 20% ebay offer last week (£167) and I'm delighted with it. Easy returns if anything does go wrong (you just get a free postage label to return it).
I've had a couple of refurb tablets from Argos eBay and were in excellent condition. One of them (Acer) stopped charging after 12 months and a couple of weeks and Argos still did a refund.

I bought a laptop from Argos that was a refurb, it was awful and had a Roxy music CD still in it, the packaging was a plain smashed brown box.
Never ever again.

might also be worth noting that those ones would have to be nearly new, grade b no chance and going by the last ones, have a look at the ipad air for £179 recently thread which were like new but were in a terrible state. Would I chance a refurb from Argos, never again.

You might be right, I only mentioned that because someone brought it up in the previous deal that was slightly dearer

I thought the warranty started the moment the device is switched on/gets activated on their servers?
