Is there one you'd recommend? I like the idea of the Lord of the Rings one (never played one before!)

The Lego games are pretty much the same formula across the board. Although the older ones (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indian Jones) don't have any voice acting and relies heavily on "grunts, groans, screams, cries, and random, unintelligable gibberish" (http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Video_Game)
I own most of them, game play is simple, dialogs and references are amusing. I personally like the Lego games so for a cheap price, it's worth adding to your library.

Lego: Jurassic World - I enjoyed this one the most, playing through each film and the dynamic scenes.
Lego: Marvel Super Heroes - Great open world environment, you are based on the Helicarrier and below you is a large city that you can roam around to complete challenges and unlock new character.
Lego: Pirates of the Caribbean - Same as Jurassic World, very enjoyable playing through the films .
I don't own any of the Lego: Lord of the Rings but I will be picking these up today.

They're all pretty mechanically similar so I'd personally recommend going with whichever franchise you like the best (at least in terms of the ones based on specific films). I lived the first Indiana Jones one partly because I enjoyed the riffing on the three films with which I'm most familiar. The second one, based on Crystal Skull, not so much as I committed none of that film to memory (apart from a ludicrous incident with a fridge).
Playing Star Wars Complete Saga in local co-op is one of my fondest gaming memories.

Going from the reviews off Steam, apparently the The Hobbit is only 2 out of 3 films and the 3rd part is never going to be released.

My kids love the Lego games but sadly they aren't allowed anywhere near my PC  that said I normally get them Lego games for the X360 as that's mostly what they play with when friends come over. Shame those games never get this cheap, but again, that's what I love about my PC and Steam.

Have you tried family sharing? You can authorize your kids computer to have access to games you've selected in your library - of course, that's if your children have their own PC.

True. Although the reason we game on a PC is choice right? Variety is the spice of life.

I use Steam Home Streaming - mostly works really well if your LAN is up to it. Moonlight if you already have a decent Android box hooked up to the TV and want to stream games to it.
Saying all that, it can work out cheaper to build a basic gaming PC once you've upgraded all the other stuff to get Steam Home Streaming working nicely.

Very true and heat as £3 is a great deal even if it does push your rig to the limit with cutting edge visuals and non game breaking bugs

Oh unfortunate that they're OOS. I'm sure they'll have stock soon.
I've had problems with CJ's keys before especially with the anti-fraud stuff.

Yeah that's the reason why I don't purchase from them or from any website that requires governmental IDs. Just can't trust them.

I ordered the Jurassic World game from CJs due to the comment above and it worked fine. Signed up, went through all the emails they sent and added my mobile number for verification. Worked a treat and i've added it to my steam library. I've not installed it yet, but the CD Key was a photo from the back of a foreign box, so hopefully the game will be in English, or i'll be annoyed.

Hmmmm so I said give me a refund as this is beyond a joke asking for so much verification when I paid with PayPal and confirmed my phone with them .
They just decide to forget all that and let me through to the download key stage .
If that's not dodgy I don't know what is ......
Opening post
Others games that I've found cheaper than other etailers that are doing promotions for Lego (GMG for example):
Lego: Batman 3: Beyond Gotham £2.71
Lego: Lord of the Rings £2.39
Lego: The Hobbit £2.38
Lego: Star Wars 3 £5.26
All are Steam codes.
[EDIT]
If it's sold out on the link, it can be had for £2.99 at CJs-Keys here:
