Opt-in on My eBay to create up to 100 listing(s) on eBay.co.uk in an eligible category, starting during the promotion period, using the auction-style or fixed price format and receive a 50% discount on their final value fees if the items sell.
Before your 100 listings start, you need to have actively opted in to the promotion.
Also, you won’t pay an insertion fee for each of the 100 listings. Listing upgrade fees will still apply and will be charged according to the eBay fees policy.
I just use shpock now as it is totally free and far more easier to list items. https://shpock.com/int/

Just listed a few things this morning and you panicked me as I put them all at buy it nows. But, my account T&Cs for the offer says it includes fixed price listings.

And perhaps more importantly, so long as Ebay's clunky IT systems recognise it and don't make a mistake, their forums, and pretty well any other selling forum that mentions private Ebay transactions are full of comments about people failing to get the discount.
Personally I've had a few fail and there's no recourse to Ebay, so generally these days don't worry about it, I'll list when convenient, hope I get the discount, but if not, don't worry move on, as far as I'm concerned it's more important to clear the house than worry about the fees.

The fee reduction is valid for the full 30 days. I only sell on ebay when they offer me at least 75% off final value fee. Sometimes, they offer me 100% off final value fee for 1 item.

As long as item is listed in promotional period after you have opted in to the 50% off final value fees you will receive discount when sales closes on the item sold

I've signed up to the offer. But I have a question...
I've created 2 'Buy it Nows' that are on for 30 days. Will they still be eligible? Or do they have to end (or be bought) within a specific time period? Thanks in advance

Just received email this evening on this offer. So not expired. I wont be taking up offer as stopped put stuff on ebay. Regarding other people's comments on discounted fees, reduced fees are not normally given on active or relisted items.you have to put item back on as a new listing. Hope that helps, been caught out on that in the past

Another case of rip-off Britain!
They pay the VAT on your selling fees to Luxembourg the second richest country in the World.
I'd rather pay my 20% to the UK than 17.5% to Luxembourg!
Here are the fees in Switzerland. Look more reasonable?
CHF 1.00 - CHF 100.00
4% of the selling price
CHF CHF 100,01- 1000,00
3% the selling price of CHF 100.00, plus. CHF 4.00
CHF 1000.01 and higher
1.5% the selling price of CHF 1000.00, plus. CHF 31.00

That is true, but this is one of the occasions where they seem to have forgotten to send out the email - expect a rash of emails this morning, so probably worth it for the heads up, for those who don't check.

Biggest problem with spock is everything is open to offers and people just send stupid offers. Full of idiots. Currently selling TV for £180 and every offer has been around £30 - £60. Personally I find it a waste of time. Have over 10 items listed and not one item has been sold.

I am wondering if I list an item for a fix price £100, but it didn't sell after 10th May.
