Not 144hz, but I think it's a good price for a 27" 1ms monitor. Supposed to have nice speakers too, and has a blue light reduction option.
Edit: Should probably note it's 1080p

I purchased this. Arrived yesterday. Has 1 stuck pixel. "needs to have 5 or more before they class it as defective".
I'm not happy. It also is started emitting a humming noise, temporarily.
It will go back, however, I feel an argument over who pays return collection fees.

A 1440p monitor has a screen resolution of 2560×1440. Think of it as being midway between 1080p and 4k and you won't be far wrong.
Loads of 1440p screens on the market, some of them very high end (144Hz+, G-sync / Freesync / IPS and TN both available).
Thanks - so does 1440p run on a 1080p monitor or does a 1440p monitor exist?!

Why? I was thinking of getting a larger monitor - I don't want it for gaming, just for internet use/work and the occasional movie. Would something like this not be suitable? Thanks.

I have to agree. I recently purchased a 1080p 24" monitor and to be honest, it's almost too much for the resolution.
In my opinion, 22" is the sweet spot for 1080 and for 27" 1440p would be much, MUCH better.
Speaking of which, does anyone have any recommendations for a 1440p 144Hz monitor sub £300?

Is it worth investing in a 4K monitor?

That's like asking if you should buy a car....
Do you need one? Can you drive it with enough GPU power? What will 4k offer you? Do you understand how scaling works on 4k?
It's not a simple answer because it depends on what you need and your preferences.
For most people, even many professionals, 1440p is the sweet spot and will be for a number of years.

I wouldn't really call it an okay price to be honest, it's quite poor for the price other than the physical size of the screen but there are much better 1080p IPS panels available for cheaper. Lacks DP also.

Even though the monitor isn't 1ms, Just another way to make a monitor sell I guess.

Not only that but it's also a poor panel (like almost all 1080p 27" TN panels).
It's an okay price I guess. But the gaming marketing and G-MASTER BLACK HAWK name are ridiculous.

Top pro gamers are now using black and white as it gives them higher FPS and helps them see enemies more quickly.
