Jeez, not enough hours in the day.
Already got loads of games in my library I haven't yet activated but I keep buying them like a crack addiction.
If you really think all 4 of those are "dross"/ not even "semi-decent" then either you've written them off without even looking at them or your standards are just unrealistically high. Even putting aside the quality of the games the top 3 of those 4 are on my steam wishlist and I don't think they've ever been 50% off so the sheer value for money is pretty ridiculous; Renowned Explorers is on one of Steam's daily sales and costs £10 alone.
OT: I've been tempted to get Mad Max at around this price in the past anyway and since HB seem to be making a habit of picking games off my wishlist the past couple of months I figured it might be worth giving monthly another shot.

If you used PayPal you could threaten to charge back.

I accidentally let my subscription run over and they gave me my money back straight away. Not sure if I'm lucky or you're unlucky but it was the best support I've encountered in a while.

Thanks op! For anyone...please help a tired person out*- so it's a reoccurring sub is it? Easy to cancel immediately and still have what's due in this months bundle? What are previous monthly bundles like as I can't seem to find what they are like?
* been shopping at IKEA for 6 hours and just got back.

Ive subbed since the beginning and every bundle has knocked it out the park. Never regretted one of them. Great mix of AAA and indie.

This is the first bundle where I've been slightly underwhelmed, but that's only because I already own the big 3 games, South Park, This War of Mine and Nuclear Throne, but I'm sure someone will want to trade me for them. Overall the bundles have been great with a wide mix of games to appeal to most people.

I think you have to click something to pay now for next month's sub to get MM immediately if I remember correctly...

how can getting South Park/This War of Mine and Nuclear Throne feel underwhelmed ? Its not HumbleBundle's fault that you already own games given with this monthly
Advice ?
Stop buying games altogether and rely only on bundles to minimise potential loses

I know the feeling. Quickly ammassed a few hundred games in no time.
Switched to PS4 thinking it would stop my addiction.....but no thanks to all the HUKD on here I now have ammassed a collection of PS4 games.
So didn't work out for me....just costs a lot more now :0 (

Other bundles didn't appeal, got the last one in the merit of the two headline titles which I didn't have and wanted. will probably get this one as mad max looks good. That being said I thought the rest of the bundle was pretty naff TBH, I was expecting at least one semi-decent game in there, mostly though it just looks like library packing dross I might play on my laptop if I'm stupidly bored.

Didn't really like the bundle for this month but Mad Max is so worth it for those that haven't played it. Probably the second best game I played last year (After Witcher 3 of course) Also runs amazing, ran at pretty much ultra at 1080 on a 750ti

you can do this even if you don't use paypal. just phone your bank.

Worth noting that if this is your first monthly bundle you can buy the $1 tier of the current humble bundle to get 10% off your first month's subscription. Even if you don't want those games it still saves you $0.20, making it a little cheaper.

I'm sure they are fairly good games and good indie titles, however they are just more probably somehow rogue like indie titles of which I already have dozens of and no time to play so therefore dross(to me), something has to really stand out these days to be worthy of very limited game time, I haven't even managed to find time to finish a single AAA title this year so it's not hard to fall into that category. And I think in particular I would have maybe liked maybe one oldy but goody in the mix rather than three relative unknown titles even if the value on them is very good,
I do like the look of Mad Max, it's on my maybe buy list, mostly because of a lack of free time and I'm only really buying things I definately know I will play so having it in the bundle is fine. Will probably let the bundle role as I just used this months 10% voucher to buy ashes of the singularity which I know I will make time to play as I've done with all the good RTS games recently.

Not sure why youre both ignoring This War Of Mine and South Park.

If you looked at any of the previous bundles, you'd see that the Early Unlock is generally the big title, or the closest to a AAA title. If you got that the rest would be indies or older games, then why did you purchase it?
And for the record, both Nuclear Throne and The Magic Circle are excellent games, which you'd perhaps find out if you gave them a chance rather than immediately dismissing them.

So basically you value AAA games over indie ones? In which case I would suggest humble monthly is not really suited to your tastes since they only contain 1-2 of those games per bundle and they're shown upfront. That said dismissing a game because it's indie or because it's not super famous is a surefire way to miss out on some really good games.

So, if I'm reading this right, I've missed this bundle? :disappointed: This looks like an amazing bunch of games.

Couldn't agree more.
Some of my favourite most spent hours have honestly been on Indie games. They all bring something new and exciting.
Given you can complete a high majority of them in half the time of a AAA that's far from the point. Indie games are awesome! :sunglasses:

Not in the slightest, I play and back more indie, small and self published titles than I do anything else, I only mentioned AAA titles in reference to the fact they cost more money and if I'm dropping 30+ quid on a game and still not finishing it it's an indication of how little time is available. What I do have is dozens of dozens of games both AAA and Indie I haven't played yet, and none of these games really stand out from that crowd(many of which are equally if not better reviewed), two of them as I mentioned are described as "rogue like" if I had a penny for every rogue like indie title I have I would probably be able to afford several new rogue like indie titles and so therefore from the description don't stand out and grab my attention which is not a problem with them being indies as most AAA games don't do that either and it's more a critique of the fact Humble haven't made an effort to sell the bundled titles and explain WHY they are good.
Also AAA doesn't mean it can't be Indie, the only game I play regularly every week(even if it's just half an hour) is a AAA Indie title. And so far the games I've played most this year are Star Citizen, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Shadowrun(all of them), Prison Architect, Kerbal, Elite, TWOM(which I already have), Homeworld(remastered and Kharack), the majority of which are Independent or small publisher games. The only real AAA games I've played this year is MGSV after christmas, and Witcher 3 which is actually an indie even if it is AAA and I've finished neither. And as I mentioned my most recent buy other than this was Ashes which is hardly a AAA game being that it's a labour of love derived from a tech demo.
I got this bundle because I have TOWM on android and like it so am happy to support the devs and have it on another platform, and Stick of Truth because I don't have it already and it gets great reviews and several people have said it's worth my time. The rest have no word of mouth value nor any reviewers I follow playing them and saying "you must play this it's awesome". My only other comment was that I would prefer to have one fewer indie and get a classic title, I like replaying games(it's why I buy half the humble bundles and many of my store purchases) and don't have as many on steam and disks are dead for me so to me it would have more value that way, I didn't say anything about it being a AAA title because that distinction post dates a lot of what I would consider classic games and age renders it pretty meaningless.

just bought into my first monthly. Plan to buy the Star Wars £17.47 bundle etc so getting 10% off on them plus possibly some others works out good.
Is it easy to cancel? Able to cancel the renewal immediately and still receive the perks for the full month, eg the 10% off other sales?
