Would be nice if IDMobile did a 12 month deal on this like they did with the P8 :man:

Able to unlock at anytime during the contract. 1 year locking is for phones bought outright in cash.

On these Airtime cancel deals, can you still pay the device cost per month to o2? So could I pay the £99 upfront, then cancel the airtime but still pay the 10pm device cost until i decided to pay off in full?

Just fill out the form on line or via the o2 app to unlock. Have done that before and is ok

Is the Voda offer better with "free" watch?

Big ad in paper today, P9 'from' £30/month with free Huawei smartwatch. The watch looks nice and Apple should take note.
Unfortunately the network on the £30 deal is Vodafone.

It's worth taking a punt on the Vodafone deal. They do a 30 day trial on the network which you can cancel if you find the coverage less than perfect. Find a friend who gets their 20% discount (police, armed forces, nurses etc) and you also get it if they go in to the store with you. That's a £450 phone £280 watch for the equivalent of £24 a month. I reckon that means Voda are paying YOU £154 to use 2gb of their data every month.

True. I've gone for the 6gb 4g deal and got 20% off. So, new p9, free watch and case for £28pm nothing upfront.
