Bought this phone a couple of days ago after my Galaxy S4 broke. It's the first budget smartphone I've bought and I'm very impressed with it for the price.
UK HTC website says snapdragon 410, which given the price would seem right.

Maybe PhoneArena is wrong then, was surprised it was the same.
Was a big fan of HTC, had a Desire S. When I was looking to update I looked first at HTC but was really dissappointed with the price vs spec compared to others. Ended up with an LG G2.

GSM Arena has the 626 with a SD410, so not sure. Comparing the two with the Moto G (16GB/2GB), I would go for the Moto G with water resistant, no bloatware and bigger battery
Are you sure, according to PhoneArena they have the same CPU:

Is that from experience of using both handsets personally though? The bloatware can either be uninstalled or disabled. It's better than the Moto G imo

Yeah I'm not impressed with my nice looking Samsung Galaxy A3 either. It's a horrible performer and signal strength is woeful. Pity really, because it's a very well made device.

When this was initially released, the reviews were not that great when compared to the Moto G 3rd Gen but it was £250 at the time!
At this price its pretty good.
The fixed 2000mAh battery would be my only issue

How does this compare to the new Desire 530 currently £99.99 + £10.00 at CPW?
Thing is, mine is the blue version and the one on O2 is black.
For the hassle of returning the phone, buying an unlock code, waiting for the new phone to arrive, having the black one instead of the blue, it's just not worth it.
I got £20 Argos voucher anyway as I bought something else and they had the promo on.
I love the phone. Probably the best I've had for a long time - I had a Nexus 4, then a Nexus 5, LG G3, and then the Moto G 3rd.
I prefer this over the Moto G 3rd - it has more character to it and is better in the hand. It's very light and the camera is good too.

I bought a ph in DEC from o2 reserved online for store pickup they didn't ask me to buy top-up it was a cheap lg phone so worth a try

I just realised, you don't have to pay O2 that £10 at the time of order - they send you a Sim card and you have to top it up by £10 to activate it if you want to use it. :smile:
