Homebase are selling off a selection of their roller blinds really cheap, from £1.83. We picked up the beach hut blind for £1.83 in Bracknells homebase which should have been £16.99. Look on the shelves for blinds with no shelf price as they are invidually priced. It looks like iys the shared stock that Argos sell which is why it should be national.

well sorry for asking a question but i knew sainsburys had an offerof 1 billion pound in from october 2015 and they were the ones ones interested for about 6 months before that so the austrailian company must have came in and made an offer in january 2016 as and the deadline was feb 2016 for the offer to be accepted or rejected.

It was something my Grandad used to say when someone said "I thought.....", knowing they were wrong but excusing their error.
Son: " I thought water was dry"
Dad: You know what thought said?
Son: No
Dad: He thought he had shat himself but when he checked he was sure

Just went in to check this out... VERY difficult to find what is and isn't reduced! In the end I luckily only found one type that went through cheaper... The 180cm Homebase own cream roller blind was marked as down to £7.97 but went through at £4.83. Everything else was full price and I was so keen to find the beach hut one!
Good luck if you can commit the effort and the embarrassment of carting round blinds only for the staff to scan them at full price!

Sainsburys are buying Homebase ex-sister Argos & their Argos Financial Services Division (the two remaining Home Retail Group companies) which fits in with Sainburys Retail and Sainsburys Bank.
Yes I also noticed some blinds at these prices at homebase in stoke last weekend. so must be nationwide

Great timing, we're looking to buy some blinds. Might be an ideal to browse around for other bargains if they are downsizing.

Homebase were sold to Wesfarmers an Australian Diy chain 2 months ago so the link to argos no longer exists.I expect they are having a clear out.. Lots of stores are shrinking near me also.

i thought sainsburys were going to buy it back as they formed homebase (sainsbury's homebase) in 1979 and sold in 2000.

Same reason they're expelling habitat from the stores.
