agreed, but I would rather have fat in my snacks from healthier mono / poly sources (they are the main % in these bars); fat content helps slow down gastric emptying, and lowers the glycaemic index of the bar......so less of a "insulin spike" compared to your typical granola bar.

7.5g of sugar, the remaining carbs are probably in the form of starches. Considering a supposedly healthy yoghurt has @ 15g of sugar per small pot. Put yoghurt on the label and like sheep people assume it is going to be healthy. The fats here are healthy fats, vital to a healthy metabolism.

agree MBCH, you need fat just as much as protein. better having this to curb a sweet craving than a snickers!

Ok, I see your point......but compared to a commercial granola bar (typical protein 1-2 grams), this has a relatively high protein quantity...
also, in terms of fats.....I would argue that the fat sources are largely from the nuts / flax / pumpkin seeds that are in most of the bars (so largely mono and poly-unsaturated)
Not a pure "protein bar", and yes potentially the fat would slow digestion (and hence passage of protein to the muscles post-workout) but a great snack compared to most bars out there.

Thanks for bringing the code to my attention.
I just ordered a few 'Faith in Nature' products which are currently on offer (25%off)

Might want to change your title - they're not protien bars!
20g of fat and 9g of protein per bar make them pretty much the worst thing you could eat after the gym
It's an energy bar at best

Hot. They to be of similar price per bar on 4-bar packs offers in Sainsburys. But not seen them on offer for at least 6 months now - since they changed the packaging.

Everyone has said about the fat content but not about the sugar content, one fifth sugar! Sorry OP it's a good deal for those who want to buy them, but for me the sugar content of these bars is enough for me to swerve them.

I agree the sugar is not optimal, and my consumption of these is mainly after my sports / gym training.....to stop me reaching for a cadburys creme egg when hunger strikes!

All of them are vegan too (other than the organic one) for anyone wondering

4 pack at tescos 2.29 not much of a saving

It's a reasonable saving 42.5p a bar vs 57.25p = 14.75p a bar (without taking in to consideration cashback - 12.6% TCB & free delivery). Which in the OPs case is a saving over over £4
