The Hisense LTDN58K700XWTSEU UHD TV series combines 4K UHD resolution, quad-core processing, a wide color range and one-touch Netflix access wrapped up in a super slim design. Measuring a mere 3.5 cm deep at their thinnest point this TVs screen size comes in at an impressive 58" (146 cm). A quite stunning television!

Gets very good reviews on Richer Sounds mate from folk who've bought it. Been thinking of getting it myself, but not sure if it would be too big.

Well ignore the bad reviews about these TVs having terrible input lag, they are just fine for gaming, fast moving action, sport etc. Hisense did an update last November that fixed a lot of lag related issues especially with 'Game' mode and the Iplayer app is coming soon in a future update.
The built in sound enhancement is suprisingly good for a unknown brand TV like this and overall its a really solid purchase. Fantastic image quality all round too

I too bought this tv from appliances online last week. Picture and sound wise the tv is fantastic. Seems to have a lot of clicking noise due to heat expansion and contraction when cooling down from the casing.
Reported a fault to appliances online so will see how the replacement is

I use mine for films and gaming. Its an awesome tv. Settings do take a while to mess around with and get right, but once you get them right the colours are spot on. The ultra smooth image mode, needs taking off on most things ( common on most new tvs that have this feature) this is what leads to the ghosting that most people complain about. The tv is perfect for gaming too. I play xbox one ps4 and wii u. On this with no issues. And i like to play call of duty online and have found their to be no noticeable input lag.
The tv has 4k upscaling and it looks good and works well. 4k content looks spot on as well. Sd content looks as you would expect, but if your buying this tv im guessing your not watching sd content.
Overall a brilliant tv for the money, just bare in mind you need to mess around with the settings as the out of box picture is far too saturated to look any good.

Hisense isn't an unknown brand, they are absolutely massive in Asia! Expect them to be as well known as LG and Samsung within 5 years.

Very very tempted for my bedroom. Would like OLED due to being used to my panny plasma panel. Would richersounds match this?
Franzkill
24 Apr 16#19
Well yeah they've been making panels for those companies for years now but generally I don't think most people would know the brand if mentioned.
Got one from Richersounds.ie for Northern Ireland, plus free 6 year warranty and delivery. Visually excellent, however, Smart TV stuff is not great, very poor actually. No 4OD etc BBC iplayer is there after update, but that's about it. But have Fire Stick and Xbox One connected so enough apps that way. Fitted this into an Ikea LappLand TV unit that says will only take up to 55 inch, nah the Hisense 58 goes no bother. You will need some help lifting this as it really is a ton weight. Some occassional lip sync issues, but as said use FStick and Xb1 with no issues. Gaming is excellent but obviously only in HD 1080, good viewing angles and blacks are deep and consistent. Slight delay changing channels/feeds but live with it. Netflix/Youtube buttons on remote are handy. Sound is good, volume usually around 12/14 is loud enough, about a 1/5 of what it could do. Bass/treble fine. This is does what it says. Don't think HDR is happening, no hardware, but heh, value for money. Keep focused there is not a lot of 4K stuff out there so most has to be downloaded or via Youtube. HD upscale to 4K brill. Have used customer servies and they sent USB stick free of charge with update, gaming lag gone. Over the air updates dont work. If you want to buy a Sony/LG/Samsung then buy a Sony/LG/Samsung, What would I add/change...the Smart software as it really lets the unit down if you have nothing else not UK centred, this could have been so much more, too much EU rubbish apps. Really you need to have Fstick/KODI/Xbox/PS etc to get the best out of this. SD, well it's SD what do you expect.

This is now £629 at Crampton & Moore. Managed to get JL to pricematch. Initially they got back to me to say it was a different model number, but I responded to say that the 2 model numbers were both listed on the Hisense UK site for the same TV and they accepted. £629 delivered with a 5 year JL warranty will do me. C&M wanted £50 delivery!

If I miss delivery, can I then specify a day of my choosing?
