We bought one of these for our daughters when they were £9.99 a few months back and it's great. The fact that it only takes a few minutes to do means the kids don't forget bored and it's easy to clean as well.

Of course if you really want to be all cutesy and Japanese then you should be using this to make this snack instead of cake pops.

Just get the bog standard pop cake maker from Tesco or Sainsburys. We have used one of those for Tako yaki and it's fine. You can normally pick them up for around £5-10 anyway.
